LGBT+ pāru tiesiskā regulējuma diskurss Latvijas populārākajos interneta ziņu portālos un intervijās ar to lasītājiem

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot LGBT+ pāru tiesiskā regulējuma diskursus populārākajos Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos (“Delfi.lv”, “Tvnet.lv”, “LSM.lv”, “Jauns.lv” un “LA.lv”) un intervijās ar to lasītājiem. Darba teorētiskā daļa ietver diskursa jēdziena un ziņu veidošanos no mediju–auditorijas attiecību aspekta skaidrojumu, minoritāšu jēdziena skaidrojumu. Teorijas izklāstā ir apkopota informācija par LGBT+ kopienu Latvijā. Lai iegūtu pētījuma rezultātus tika izmantota kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, daļēji strukturēto interviju pieeja, kā arī diskursa vēsturiskā analīze. Populārākajos Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos tika identificēti divi galvenie LGBT+ pāru tiesiskā regulējuma apakšdiskursi – apdraudējuma diskurss un ģimenes jēdziena aizsardzības diskurss. Savukārt intervijās ar portālu lasītājiem pastāv četri galvenie LGBT+ pāru tiesiskā regulējuma apakšdiskursi – LGBT+ kopienas raksturojošais diskurss, sabiedrības attieksmju veidojošo faktoru diskurss, LGBT+ pāru attiecību regulēšanas diskurss, kā arī ģimenes jēdziena definēšanas diskurss. Kopumā secināms, ka LGBT+ pāru tiesiskā regulējuma diskurss interneta ziņu portālos pārsvarā bija ar negatīvu perspektīvu attiecībā pret LGBT+ kopienu, taču šo portālu lasītāju vidū paustā pozīcija pārsvarā bija LGBT+ kopienu un to tiesību atbalstoša.

The aim of the master’s thesis is to find out what discourses of the regulatory framework applicable to LGBT+ couples are found in Latvia’s most popular internet news portals (“Delfi.lv”, “Tvnet.lv”, “LSM.lv”, “Jauns.lv” un “LA.lv”) and in interviews with their readers. The theoretical research includes the notion of discourse, formation of news from the point of view of media-audience relationship, and concept of minorities. It also includes a summary about the LGBT+ community in Latvia. The research was carried out by using quantitative content-analysis, semi-structured interviews, and the discourse-historical approach. Two main sub-discourses of regulatory framework applicable to LGBT+ couples were identified in Latvia’s most popular internet news portals – the discourse of threat and the discourse of protection of the concept of family. In interviews with readers of the portals, there are four main sub-discourses of the regulatory framework applicable to LGBT+ couples – the discourse of characterizing the LGBT+, the discourse of the factors shaping the societal attitudes, the discourse on regulating LGBT+ couple relationships, and the discourse of defining the family concept. Overall, the discourse of the regulatory framework applicable to LGBT+ couples in internet news portals were with a negative perspective towards the LGBT+ community, but the position expressed among the portal readers was supportive of the LGBT+ community and their rights.
