Lai gan tehnoloģiju attīstība ir plaši veicinājusi esošo masu mediju attīstību un jaunu kanālu rašanos, radio savu popularitāti turpina saglabāt vēl mūsdienās, pateicoties savam unikālajam formātam. Latvijas radio 6. kanālā jeb radio NABA katru pirmdienu plkst. Although technological advances have greatly contributed to the development of existing mass media and the emergence of new channels, radio continues to remain popular today due to its unique format. On Latvian radio channel 6 or radio NABA every Monday at 16:00 there is a program called “Studentu Pietura”, which stands out against the background of other radio programs created in Latvia with its content creators. “Studentu Pietura” is an only student-controlled project targeting the same students. The topic of this bachelor thesis “Development of radio NABA program “Studentu Pietura” (2015-2022)”. Its main purpose is to find out how the frequent change of program managers over several years has affected its content, dynamics, extraterrestrial activities and other aspects. The theoretical part explains not only the definition of mass media, development, radio and student radio, but also the general history of radio as well as the theory of the agenda. The methods used in the study are a semi-structured interview with a radio NABA producer, short structured interviews with six former and current broadcasters, and a quantitative content analysis analyzing the content and number of presenters from 2015 to 2022. The results of the bachelor's thesis will allow us to understand how the dynamics of the program "Student Stop" and the topics covered have changed, as well as what are the most common reasons for the constant change of managers. Recommendations for more successful development of “Student Stops” and attraction of a wider target audience are also provided.
