Izglītības iestādes attīstību veicinošās vadītāja kompetences

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Izglītības iestādes attīstību veicinošās vadītāja kompetences” mērķis ir noskaidrot izglītības iestādes attīstības veicināšanai nepieciešamas vadītāja kompetences. Darbā izmantota zinātniskā literatūra par efektīvās vadības, skolas attīstības un kompetences jēdzienu būtību, izglītības iestādes vadītāja lomu un nozīmi organizācijas kvalitatīvas darbības nodrošināšanā. Apkopojot teorētiskās atziņas, tika secināts, ka mūsdienās skolas direktoram savas organizācijas attīstībai ir nepieciešams vesels kompetenču kopums, kas ietver gan orientāciju uz mērķu sasniegšanu un attīstību, gan izglītības iestādes vērtību apzināšanās, gan daudzas citas kompetences un prasmes. Datu ieguvei tika anketēti 134 Latvijas skolu direktori un 192 pedagogi. Pētījuma ietvaros uzsvars tika likts uz vadītāju kompetenču, zināšanu un prasmju analizēšanu, proti, kuras no tām ir pietiekamas, vai kurās jomās zināšanas un prasmes ir jāuzlabo, kā arī noskaidrota skolas direktoru kompetenču pašvērtējuma atkarība no iegūtās izglītības. Darba rezultātā tika izdarīti secinājumi par to, kādas kompetences nepieciešamas izglītības iestādes vadītājam, lai veicinātu izglītības iestādes attīstību.

The aim of the master’s thesis “The head of educational institution competence in the development of an educational institution” is to find out the competences that are necessary for the head of an educational institution. The scientific literature on the essence of the concepts of effective management, school development and competence, the role and importance of the head of an educational institution in ensuring the quality of the organization is used in the work. Summarizing the theoretical findings, it was concluded that today the school principal needs a whole set of competences for the development of his organization, which includes orientation towards the achievement and development of goals, awareness of the values of the educational institution, and many other competences and skills. 134 Latvian school principals and 192 teachers were surveyed to obtain data. The emphasis of the study was on the analysis of the competencies, knowledge and skills of the heads of educational institutions, i.e. which of them are sufficient or in which areas the knowledge and skills need to be improved, as well as the dependence of school principal’s self assessment on the acquired education. As a result of the thesis, conclusions were made about what competencies the head of an educational institution needs in order to promote the development of an educational institution.
