Saistības starp ticību pašrunā, motivāciju un personības iezīmēm sportistu vidū

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai motivācijas veids un personības iezīmes spēs prognozēt ticību pašrunā, kā arī uzzināt, vai eksistē saistība starp noteiktām personības iezīmēm un motivācijas veidu. Pētījumā piedalījās 50 dalībnieki – gan profesionāla, gan amatieru līmeņa sportisti – vecumā no 18 līdz 37 gadiem. Katrs respondents aizpildīja trīs aptaujas: Lielā piecinieka aptaujas (The Big Five Inventory; BFI, John & Srivastava, 1999) saīsināto versiju (Schmitt et al., 2007; Perepjolkina & Kalis, 2012); Pozitīvas uzvedības motivācijas aptauju (Lemberga, 2020); Ticības pašrunā aptaujas adaptēto versiju latviešu valodā (Araki et al., 2006; Bole, 2020). Pētījuma rezultāti atklāja vidēji ciešu pozitīvu saistību starp ārēju motivāciju un neirotismu. Starp pārējiem mainīgajiem lielumiem netika atklātas statistiski nozīmīgas saistības.

The aim of the study was to find out whether the type of motivation and personality traits will be able to predict belief in self-talk, as well as to find out whether there is a connection between certain personality traits and the type of motivation. The study involved 50 participants – both professional and amateur level athletes – from ages 18 to 37. Each respondent completed three questionnaires: an abbreviated version of The Big Five Inventory (BFI, John & Srivastava, 1999) (Schmitt et al., 2007; Perepjolkina & Kalis, 2012); Positive Behavior Motivation Survey (Lemberga, 2020); an adapted version of the Belief in Self-Talk questionnaire in the Latvian language (Araki et al., 2006; Bole, 2020). The results of the study revealed a moderately strong positive correlation between extrinsic motivation and neuroticism. No statistically significant correlations were found between the other variables.
