The paper analyzes the prevalence and application of cryotherapy among athletes. How cryotherapy affects the athlete's rehabilitation and recovery processes. It is pointed out that cryotherapy should be perceived as a method of medical therapy, the use of cryotherapy in improving the living conditions of athletes has been analyzed. Aim of the work: To study sports knowledge about cryotherapy, its use in rehabilitation and promotion of the body's recovery. Tasks: 1. To study the scientific literature on cryotherapy, cryotherapy methods, their effect on the body and their use in rehabilitation and improvement of well-being. 2. To find out athletes' knowledge about cryotherapy and its application. 3. To study athletes' knowledge about the use of cryotherapy in rehabilitation and its practical use in the rehabilitation process. 4. To study the knowledge of athletes about the use of cryotherapy in the promotion of the body's regenerative abilities and its practical use in the regeneration process. The study concludes that younger respondents are more aware of cryotherapy and the ability of cryotherapy to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery. The answers of the respondents showed that the largest number use cryotherapy in rehabilitation, but a small percentage of respondents also use it on a daily basis to improve their well-being, which means that they are only aware of their ability to accelerate rehabilitation. Athletes, as well as patients using cryotherapy procedures, can benefit from them, improve their living conditions and reduce the pain of microtraumas.
