Angļu valodas nozīme latviešu valodas vārdu krājuma apguvē 3–5 gadus veciem bērniem

Abstract

Darba nosaukums ir “Angļu valodas nozīme latviešu valodas vārdu krājuma apguvē 3–5 gadus veciem bērniem”; darba autore ir Anna Puriņa. Darba mērķis ir teorētiski un empīriski izzināt angļu valodas nozīmi latviešu valodas vārdu krājumu apguvē 3–5 gadus veciem bērniem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā apkopota svarīgākā teorētiskā literatūra pētāmās problēmas kontekstā. Balstoties uz teorētiskās literatūras analīzi, darba empīriskajā daļā tika veikts 15 bērnu vārdu krājuma novērtējums, pētījumā iesaistīto bērnu vecāku anketēšana par bērna saskarsmi ar angļu valodu ģimenē, praktiskais darbs ar fokusa grupas bērniem angļu valodas nodarbību formā un atkārtota bērnu vārdu krājuma izvērtēšana. Pētījumā tika secināts, ka angļu valodas nodarbību rezultātā uzlabojās bērnu prasmes lietot prievārdus un apstākļa vārdus. Kvalifikācijas darba apjoms ir 36 lappuses, 13 attēli, 3 tabulas un 5 pielikumi. Darbā izmantoti 44 literatūras avoti, no kuriem 19 angļu valodā. The title of the qualification paper is “The Role of English in Latvian Vocabulary Learning for Children Aged 3–5”; the author of the paper is Anna Purina. The goal of this paper is to find out theoretically and empirically the importance of English in the acquisition of Latvian vocabulary for children aged 3–5 years. The theoretical part of the work summarizes the most important theoretical literature in the context of the research problem. Based on the analysis of the theoretical literature, in the empirical part the vocabulary of 15 children was evaluated, the parents of the involved children were surveyed about the child's exposure to English in the family, practical work was conducted with focus group children in the form of English lessons and re-evaluation of children's vocabulary was administered. The study found that English language lessons improved children's ability to use prepositions and adverbs. The volume of the qualification work is 36 pages, 13 figures, 3 tables and 5 appendices. 44 literature sources are used in the work, 19 of them in English.
