Apvērstā modeļa (Flipped classroom) principu izmantošana vācu valodas kā otrās svešvalodas nodarbībās vārdu krājuma apguvei un nostiprināšanai

Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir šāda: “Apvērstā modeļa (Flipped classroom) principu izmantošana vācu valodas kā otrās svešvalodas nodarbībās vārdu krājuma apguvei un nostiprināšanai". Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā apvērstā modeļa principus var izmantot vācu valodas nodarbībās pamatskolas 6. un 8. klasē vārdu krājuma bagātināšanai. Tiek pieņemts, ka, izmantojot apvērsto modeli klātienes mācībās un digitālos materiālus (video) patstāvīgai vārdu krājuma un gramatikas likumu atkārtošanai, izglītojamie var uzlabot savus mācību panākumus vārdu krājuma apguvē. Diplomdarba darba uzdevumi, kas kalpo mērķa sasniegšanai, ir šādi: teorētiskās literatūras un rakstu izpēte par attiecīgo tēmu, stundu plānu izstrāde, anketu sagatavošana, skolēnu darba novērošana pedagoģiskā pētījuma laikā, secinājumu apkopošana. Skolēnu aptaujā tika apkopoti dati, kas tika izmantoti skolēnu mācību pieredzes un attieksmes analīzei. Papildus tika analizēti arī summatīvās vērtēšanas dati par skolēnu sasniegumiem vācu valodā. Rezultāti nosaka skolēnu attieksmi pret autonomu vārdu krājuma apguvi, izmantojot video. Diplomdarbā ir 59 lapas, 9 attēli, 4 pielikumi un 28 avoti.

The topic of the diploma thesis is: "Using Flipped Classroom principles in German as foreign language lessons for vocabulary acquisition and retention". The aim of the diploma thesis is to investigate how the principles of Flipped Classroom can be used in grades 6 and 8 in relation to vocabulary acquisition. It is hypothesized that by using the Flipped Classroom model of instruction in alternation with face-to-face instruction and independent repetition using the digital materials (videos), learners can succeed in vocabulary acquisition and retention. The work tasks of the thesis, which were performed in order to achieve the goal, are as follows: to research professional literature and articles on the relevant topic, to develop lesson plans, to develop questionnaires for the students, to observe the students' work during the case study, to draw conclusions about the use of Flipped Classroom principles for the acquisition and retention of vocabulary in elementary school. Through the survey, data was collected which was used to analyze the learning experiences and attitude of the students. In addition, the data from the summative assessment about the students' performance was analyzed. The results determine the students' attitude towards autonomous vocabulary acquisition with the help of videos. The thesis includes 59 pages, 9 figures, 4 appendix and 28 sources.
