Abstract

Pacientu tiesību regulējums Latvijā ir veidots salīdzinoši nesen un ir pilnveidošanas procesā. Darbā tiek aplūkotas pacientu tiesības regulējošās starptautiskās un nacionālās tiesību normas. Pacientu tiesību regulējošo normu tvērums. Ņemot vērā, ka pacientu tiesības ir daļa no veselības aprūpes sistēmas, ir aplūkotas arī veselības sistēmu regulējošās tiesību normas. Analizējot tiesību normas un tiesas spriedumus, tiek akcentēta daļa no problēmām saistībā ar pacientu tiesībām. Aplūkotas pacientu iespējas aizstāvēt savas tiesības.
