The bachelor’s thesis examines the issue of taxation of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens, which has so far been unexplored in the legal science of the Republic of Latvia. As the use of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens is consistently increasing, complex issues arise both with regard to the use of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens, as well as with regard to the legal regulation of taxation. The study has scientific and practical implications for the future development and accurate application of the regulatory framework. The work reveals the concepts of cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens, as well as their legal status in Latvian legislation, the types of income and the taxes applicable to them and their amounts, as well as the related issues and their solutions
