The bachelor's thesis examines the issue of protection measures proposed by the European Union in relation to jurisdictions that do not co-operate in the field of taxation. The global awareness of the existence and use of offshore jurisdictions with low tax regimes has grown significantly in recent years, and a number of safety measures have been put in place by a number of countries and international organizations, including the Council of the European Union, to reduce tax evasion. Within the framework of the work, the recommended protection measures in the field of taxation, in relation to offshore activities, have been studied and analyzed, together with how they are incorporated into the laws and regulations of the Member States, to understand the effectiveness and impact of regulation.
