AUDIO IERAKSTI INTENSĪVO VALODAS KLAUSĪŠANĀS PRASMJU ATTĪSTĪŠANAI ANGĻU VALODAS PRIVĀSTUNDĀS

Abstract

Diplomdarba autors izvēlējās un strādāja ar aktuālu problēmu sākumskolas skolēnu vidū – intensīvās klausīšanās prasmēm, vai precīzāk to trūkumu. Teorētiskajā pētījumā aprakstīts klausīšanās prasmju nozīmīgums un vērtība, kā arī izklāsītas metodes un dota informācija par klausīšanās prasmju apakšprasmēm un to pašsaprotamajām atšķirībām. Papildus tika apskatītas dažādas ierakstu izmantošanas stratēģijas intensīvo klausīšanās prasmju attīstīšanai. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, autors veica gadījuma izpēti. Pētījuma izlasē bija četri sākumskolēni no dažādām Rīgas un Mārupes skolām. Datu salīdzināšanai autors pētījuma beigās intervēja katru skolēnu, lai noskaidrotu viņu viedokli par savām intensīvās klausīšanās prasmēm, izmantojot daļēji strukturēto interviju. Diplomdarba autors ar katru skolēnu veica pedagoģisko vērošanu, lai labāk saprastu izmaiņas skolēnu intensīvajās klausīšanās prasmēs. Rezultāti atklāja, ka bija manāma pozitīva dinamika skolēnu intensīvās klausīšanās prasmēs un klausīšanās koncentrēšanās spējās, bet nevar noteikt, vai ieviestie uzdevumi tiešā veidā sekmēja pārmaiņas. Pārliecinošu pierādījumu iegūšanai par labu intensīvo klausīšanās prasmju attīstībai, izmantojot ierakstus, būtu jāveic plašāki pētījumi ilgākā laika posmā.

The author of this Diploma Paper has chosen and worked on a topical problem among primary school learners – intensive listening skills, or the lack thereof. The theoretical research gives the description of the significance and value of listening skills, outlines the techniques and describes all of the listening sub-skills and their self-explanatory differences, and explores strategies for developing intensive listening skills using recordings. To accomplish the aim, the author carried out a case study. The research sample was four primary school students from different schools in Riga and Marupe. The author conducted a semi-structured interview with each student on their views on recordings for language learning to develop primary school learners’ intensive listening skills. The author also observed the students before and at the end of the research to better understand the changes in their intensive listening skills. The results revealed that there was a slight increase of students’ intensive listening skills and their focus on listening, but it could not be determined if the implemented tasks served as a direct cause of the change. To observe persuasive evidence of a considerable development of intensive listening skills using recordings, a detailed study should be undertaken over a longer period of time.
