Latvijas mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes nozares iesaiste globālajās vērtību ķēdēs, uzņēmuma “X” piemērs

Abstract

Vērtību ķēžu pieaugošā nozīmība starptautiskajā tirdzniecībā rada nepieciešamību parādību izprast padziļinātāk. Latvijas mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes nozare tika izmantota kā lēca, caur, kuru skatīt globālās vērtību ķēdes, kopš ražojošajām industrijām ir nozīmīga loma valsts tautsaimniecībā un šādas nozares tiek reti skatītas zinātniskajā literatūrā. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot Latvijas mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes nozares pozīciju globālajās vērtību ķēdēs un kontekstualizēt informāciju apskatot konkrēta uzņēmuma “X” darbību un pozīciju ķēdēs. Pētījuma rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka nozare vidēji ķēdē atrodas tuvāk patērētājam, nekā izejvielām. Parasti līdz patērētājam tiekot caur citu ražotāju, vai starpnieku.

The growing importance of value chains in international trade creates the need to understand the phenomenon with greater depth. The Latvian mechanical engineering and metalworking industry is used as a lens through which to view global value chains, since industrial manufacturing plays an important role in the economy and such industries have not been analyzed enough in scientific literature. The aim of the study was to determine the position of the Latvian mechanical engineering and metalworking industry in global value chains and contextualize the information by analyzing the activity and position of a specific company "X" within its value chains. The research concluded the industry is closer to the consumer, than the raw materials on average. Usually reaching the consumer through another manufacturer or an intermediary.
