Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Vispārējā personāla motivēšanas pilnveides iespējas Latvijas Universitātē”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt vispārējā personāla motivēšanas iespējas Latvijas Universitātē un izstrādāt priekšlikumus īstenoto motivēšanas pasākumu pilnveidei. Bakalaura darbā autore sniedz padziļinātu personāla motivēšanas teoriju analīzi (Abrahama Maslova vajadzību hierarhija, Frederika Hercberga motivācijas teorija, ERG jeb esamības, saistības un izaugsmes teorija), lai izstrādātu uz teorijām balstītus secinājumus un sniegtu priekšlikumus Latvijas Univertsitātes vispārējā personāla motivācijas sistēmas uzlabošanai. Bakalaura darba pirmajā nodaļā aplūkoti darbinieku motivācijas teorētiskie aspekti, pētīti motivācijas veidi un teorijas. Darba otrajā nodaļā sniegts izvērsts Latvijas Universitātes raksturojums un vispārējā personāla motivēšanas veidi. Darba trešajā daļā sniegta pētījuma metodoloģija un veikts pētījumus un tā analīze, lai noskaidrototu, kā Latvijas Universitāte īsteno vispārējā personāla motivēšanas pasākumus, kā arī personāla viedokli par šiem pasākumiem. The topic of the bachelor thesis is “Possibilities for improvement of motivation of general personnel at University of Latvia”. The aim of this thesis is to research staff motivation possibilities in the Univerity of Latvia and make suggestions for imporvement. In the Bachelor theses different staff motivation theories are discussed, means that University of Latvia use for employee motivation are researchesd, and the opinions of University of Latvia general staff are obtained. The bachelor thesis provides an in-depth analysis of personnel motivation theories (Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Frederik Herzberg's motivation theory, ERG or existence, commitment and growth theory) in order to develop theory-based conclusions and provide proposals for improving the general personnel motivation system of the University of Latvia. In the first chapter of the bachelor's thesis, the theoretical aspects of employee motivation are discussed, the types and theories of motivation are studied. The second chapter of the paper provides a detailed description of the University of Latvia and ways of motivating the general staff. The research methodology is presented in the third part of the paper and a research analysis on the opinion of the general staff of the University of Latvia regarding motivational measures in the institution.
