Bakalaura darba “Sodītu personu resocializācijas sociālā nozīme” mērķis ir noteikt, ko no resocializētas personas iegūst sabiedrība kopumā un, vai sabiedrība ir gatava dot resocializētam cilvēkam līdztiesību. Tiek noskaidrota un izpētīta socializācijas un resocializācijas būtība. Sodītas personas tiek stigmatizētas un ierobežojumi, kas ir noteikti pēc soda izciešanas paliek uz mūžu. Tas liedz personai veiksmīgi integrēties atpakaļ sabiedrībā. Darba ietvaros ir ne tikai aplūkots un analizēts socializācijas un resocializācijas process, bet arī, kādas situācijas veicina vai kavē šo procesu pilnvērtīgu norisi. Tika noskaidroti sodītu personu ierobežojumi pēc soda izciešanas un kāda ir sabiedrības attieksme pret sodītu personu integrāciju sabiedrībā. Pētījuma rezultātā darba autore secināja, ka nav nepieciešams ierobežot sodītas personas tiesības, jo tāda veidā persona tiek stigmatizēta, liedzot iespēju veiksmīgi integrēties sabiedrībā. Jebkurā gadījumā nepieciešams veikt individuālu izvērtējumu, kurš noteiktu, vai indivīds ir drauds sabiedrībai un tāpēc ir nepieciešams ierobežot personas tiesības. The aim of bachelor paper “The social significance of resocialization of convicted people” is to determine benefits for society from a resocialized person and willingness of society to give equality to a resocialized person. The essence (basis) of socialization and resocialization is clarified and researched. Sentenced persons are stigmatized, and restrictions imposed after serving a sentence all expected lifetime. This prevents a person from successfully reintegrating into society. The framework of the work includes not only the process of considered and analyzed socialization and resocialization but also highlights situations promote or hinder the full course of these processes. The restrictions on convicted persons after serving their sentence and the public’s attitude towards the integration of convicted persons into society were clarified. As a result of the research, the author concluded that it is not necessary to restrict the rights of a convicted person, because in this way the person is stigmatized, denying the opportunity to successfully integrate into society. Anyway, is necessary an individual assessment to determine an individual threat for society and necessity to restrict a person’s rights.
