Abstract

Autore darbā ir izpētījusi Ventspils brīvostas juridiskā statusa interpretācijas ietekmi uz ostas attīstību, meklēti skaidrojumi normatīvajos aktos, tiesu praksē un citos avotos. Darbā tiek analizēti dokumenti, kas palīdz skaidrot Ventspils brīvostas juridiskā statusa interpretāciju ietekmi uz ostas attīstību, apskatīta korporatīvās pārvaldības prakse citās valstīs, īpašumtiesību izmaiņas saistībā ar juridiskā statusa interpretācijām. Darbā tiek apskatīti riski, kas jānovērš, lai osta veiksmīgi funkcionētu. Darba noslēgumā autore apskata iespējamos ostas attīstības scenārijus, secinot, kas būtu jānovērš, kas jāievieš, lai osta attīstītos.

The author studied the impact of the interpretation of the legal status of the Freeport of Ventspils on the development of the port, searched for explanations in regulatory enactments, case law and other sources. The work analyses documents that help to explain the impact of interpretations of the legal status of the Freeport of Ventspils on the development of the port, examines corporate governance practices in other countries, reveal change of ownership rights because of the interpretations of legal status. The work examines the risks that need to be eliminated for the port to work successfully.
