Taro kāršu dizaina vizuālā stilistika

Abstract

Diplomdarba “Taro kāršu dizaina vizuālā stilistika” mērķis ir, balstoties uz teorētiskajā un empīriskajā daļā veiktajiem pētījumiem, izveidot taro kāršu komplekta dizainu. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek izpētīta taro kāršu vēsture un senākie komplekti, lai gūtu padziļinātu izpratni par kavas izveidošanos, ilustrācijas tradīcijām un posmu, kad kavu sāka izmantota kā zīlēšanas rīku ezotērikas pasaulē. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikta 21. gadsimta taro kāršu dizainu paraugu salīdzināšana un izpēte. Radošajā daļā tiek izveidota 78 taro kāršu kava un grāmata ar autores veidotiem tekstiem par taro kārtīm, kā arī kārba, kurā atrodas kārtis un grāmata. Darbā secināts, ka taro kārtis parādījās ap 15. gadsimtu Itālijā, vecāko arkānu klātbūtne kavās atšķīra tās no citām spēļu kārtīm, sasaiste ar ezotēriku notika ap 18. gadsimtu. Ilustrācijās vienmēr saglabāti galvenie taro kāršu simboli – mūsdienās tie tiek stilizēti.

The aim of the bachelor work “The visual design style of tarot cards”, based on the theoretical and empirical research conclusions, is to design a full tarot card set. In order to get a deeper undertanding of when the tarot card deck first appreared, the traditions of its illustrations and the time frame of when the deck started to be used as a divination tool, in the theoretical part research was conducted on the history of tarot cards and earliest decks. The empirical part consists of comparing and analyzing design examples of 21st century tarot card decks. A 78 card tarot deck, a book consisting of text composed the author about each card and a compartment where everything will be in is produced during the creative part. The conclusion of the work is that tarot cards first appeared c. 15th century, the major arcana helped distinguish them from other decks, associations with esotericism appreared c. 18th century. The main tarot card symbols always remained in the illustrations – nowadays they are stylized.
