SUĢESTOPĒDIJAS PAŅĒMIENI SKOLĒNU RUNAS TRAUKSMES MAZINĀŠANAI 8. KLASES ANGĻU VALODAS STUNDĀS

Abstract

Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt Suģestopēdijas paņēmienu efektivitāti 8. klases skolēnu angļu valodas runas trauksmes mazināšanā. Strādājot ar šiem skolēniem divu gadu garumā, autore ir novērojusi skolēnu nevēlēšanos runāt angļu valodā mācību stundu laikā. Kā pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta gadījuma izpēte. Pētījumā tika izmantotas datu vākšanas metodes, kā Publiskās runas trauksmes skala (PSCAS), autores novērojumi mācību stundās, runas daļas pārbaudījumu rezultāti un intervijas ar pētījumā iesaistītajiem skolēniem. Tika secināts, ka Suģestopēdijas paņēmi var tikt izmantoti mācību stundās, lai uzlabotu klases kopējo atmosfēru, tomēr tie negarantē individuālu izaugsmi, jo pēc šo paņēmienu izmantošanas diviem no trīs skolēniem trauksmes līmenis bija augstāks nekā pētījuma sākumā. No otras puses, pētījuma beigās divi no trīs skolēniem uzrādīja labāku rezultātu runas daļas pārbaudījumā.

The aim of the Bachelor’s Paper was to examine if Desuggestopedia activities are efficient in the reduction of Form 8 students’ foreign language speaking anxiety. The author of the Paper has worked closely with these students and observed their reluctance to speak English during lessons for two years. A case study was chosen as the research method. The data collection methods were Public Speaking Classroom Anxiety Scale, researcher’s observations during lessons, speaking test results and interview with the research sample. Correspondingly, it was concluded that Desuggestopedia activities can be used to improve the overall classroom environment, but do not guarantee improvements for individual students as the level of anxiety after the implementation of Desuggestopedia activities increased for two of the three students, although it did have a positive impact on the speaking test results.
