Sēlijas starplobu paugurvaļņa ģeomorfoloģija un ģenēze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā veikts pētījums par Sēlijas starplobu paugurvaļņa ģeomorfoloģiju un ģenēzi. Pētījuma ietvaros veikta Sēlijas paugurvaļņa reljefa formu morfoloģijas, uzbūves un ģenēzes un ledāja dinamikas izpēte. Reljefa formas raksturotas iepazīstoties ar zinātnisko literatūru par starplobu reljefa formām un to veidošanās apstākļiem, iepriekš veidotajām ģeoloģiskajām kartēm, veicot lauka pētījumus un reljefa modeļa analīzi. Pētījums par paugurvaļņa ģeomorfoloģiju un ģenēzi ļauj izprast gan specifiskos apstākļus zem ledāja un tā malas zonā paugurvaļņa veidošanās laikā, gan paplašināt zināšanas par vēlā Vislas (Latvijas) apledojuma dinamiku un deglaciāciju Latvijā. Darba rezultāti ietver reljefa formu morfoloģijas un ģenēzes raksturojumu, kā arī Sēlijas paugurvaļņa ģeomorfoloģisko karti, kas veidota izmantojot no aerolāzerskenēšanas datiem iegūtu digitālo reljefa modeli un lauka darbos iegūtos datus. Pētījuma teritorijā identificētas glaciotektoniskās izcelsmes reljefa formas, marginālās reljefa formas, gala morēnas, kēmi, osi, ledājūdeņu noteces ielejas, zemledus paugurotās morēnas, plūdlīnijas reljefa formas, kā arī pieledāja ezeru līdzenumi.

A study on the geomorphology and genesis of the Sēlija Interlobate Hummocky Area was conducted in this bachelor’s thesis. Within the framework of the study, the morphology, structure, genesis of landforms and glacier dynamics in the Interlobate Hummocky Area were researched. The landforms were characterized by compiling scientific literature on interlobate landforms and their formation conditions and by studying previous geological and geomorphological cartographic materials, conducting field-work and analyzing digital terrain models. This study of the geomorphology and genesis of the Sēlija Interlobate Area allows to understand both the specific subglacial and marginal conditions during the formation of the study area, and to expand knowledge on the dynamics of the late Weischselian (Latvia) glaciation and deglaciation in Latvia. The results of the study include characterization of morphology and genesis of landforms and a generation of geomorphological map of the Sēlija Interlobate Hummocky Area, which was produced using data from field work and digital terrain model derived from airborne laser scanning data. Multiple landforms were identified in the study area – glaciotectonic landforms, ice-marginal moraines, end moraines, kames, eskers, meltwater valleys, subglacial hummocky moraines, streamlined subglacier landforms and proglacier lake planes.
