Darba attiecību izbeigšana saistībā ar darbinieka skaita samazināšanu

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Darba attiecību izbeigšana saistībā ar darbinieku skaita samazināšanu” mērķis ir izpētīt darba devēja uzteikuma jautājumu un darbinieku skaita samazināšanas regulējumu Latvijas Republikā un arī citās valstīs. Darbā tiek vērsta uzmanība uzteikuma izpratnei, noskaidrojot un apkopojot informāciju par darba devēja tiesībām uzteikt darba līgumu un darbinieka tiesībām un aizsardzību. Darbs ietver teorētisko informāciju, par Darba likuma regulējumu attiecīgajā lietā, apskatot tiesas spriedumus un tiesas dotos atzinumus, darba devēja uzteikuma termiņu noteikumus, ierobežojumus darba devējam uzteikt darba līgumu, kā arī uzteikumu jautājumus saistībā ar kolektīvo atlaišanu. Darbs sastāv no anotācijas latviešu un angļu valodā, ievada, trīs nodaļām, kuras iedalītas sīkākās apakšnodaļās, atklājot ar darba tematiku saistīto jautājumu saturu, kopsavilkuma un izmantotās literatūras saraksta.

The bachelor’s thesis "Termination of employment in connection with reduction of the number of employees" is aimed to study the issue in connection to employer's notice and the regulation about reduction of the number of employees in the Republic of Latvia, including information on related topics in other countries. The work focuses on the understanding of notice, clarifying and summarizing information on the employer's right to notice and the employee's rights and protections. The work includes theoretical information on the Labor law framework in the relevant case, looking at court judgments and judicial opinions, the employer's notice period rules, restrictions on the employer's right to terminate an employment contract, and notice issues in the context of collective redundancies. The thesis consists of an annotation in Latvian and English, an introduction, three chapters and subchapters in a step-by-step sequence related to the research of the thesis topic, a summary and a list of references used.
