Cilvēku ar īpašām vajadzībām diskriminācija darba tirgū

Abstract

Diskriminācijas aizlieguma princips ir viens no svarīgākajiem principiem. Ievērot diskriminācijas principa aizliegumu ir pienākums visām Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstīm. Viena no grupām pret kuru tiek vērsta diskriminācija ir cilvēki ar īpašām vajadzībām. Visbiežāk tas notiek tieši darba tirgū, kas rada problēmas šiem cilvēkiem izmantot savas tiesības vienlīdzīgi ar citiem un iekļauties sabiedrībā. Darba gaitā tiek apskatīta Eiropas Savienības tiesu prakse attiecībā uz diskrimināciju pret cilvēkiem ar īpašām vajadzībām, tiek noskaidrota īpašo vajadzību izpratne, diskriminācijas izpratne, pozitīvie pasākumi, kā arī vārda ‘’invalīds ‘’neatbilstība mūsdienām. Veicot izpēti, darba autore secina, ka Latvija ir ceļā uz draudzīgu un neaizspriedumainu vidi cilvēkiem ar īpašām vajadzībām, taču ir veicami uzlabojumi.

The principle of non- discrimination is one of the most important principles. Observing the prohibition of the principle of discrimination is the duty of all the member countries of the European Union. One of the groups against whom discrimination is often directed is people with special needs. This most often happens in the labor market, which can create problems for these people to use their rights equally with others and integrate into society. In the course of the work, the judicial practice of the European Union regarding discrimination against people with special needs is examined, the understanding of special needs, understanding of discrimination, positive measures, as well as the relevance of the word ‘’disabled ‘’to today are clarified. While conducting research, the author concludes that Latvia is on the way to a friendly and non-prejudiced environment for people with special needs, but improvements can be made
