Empātiskās komunikācijas lietošana māsas profesionālajā darbībā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Empātiskas komunikācijas lietošana māsas profesionālajā darbībā”. Veselības aprūpes kontekstā mūsdienās tiek uzsvērts, ka veselības aprūpes speciālistiem ir būtiska loma uzmanīgā, empātiskā komunikācijā ar pacientu, ne tikai manipulācijas veikšanā vai aprūpes darbību tehniskā izpildē. Viens no faktoriem, kas jo īpaši ietekmē pacienta līdzestību un stimulē atveseļošanos, ir tieši māsas un pacienta savstarpējās saskarsmes kvalitāte, jo māsa ir tas veselības aprūpes speciālists, kuru pacients visbiežāk satiek pirmo un kura ir klātesoša visā ārstēšanas un aprūpes procesā. Ieinteresēta, atbalstoša un empātiska komunikācija ar māsu veicina pacienta līdzestību ārstēšanas procesā un stimulē viņa ātrāku atveseļošanos. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot empātiskas komunikācijas lietošanu māsas profesionālajā darbībā praktizējošu māsu vidū vienas slimnīcas ietvaros. Izvirzītie pētniecības uzdevumi ir zinātniskās literatūras un pētījumu analīze par empātiju un empātisku komunikāciju veselības aprūpē un māsas profesionālo lomu tajā, māszinību teorijas analīze saistībā ar empātisku pacientu aprūpi un komunikāciju, kā arī pētījuma instrumenta izstrāde, pētījuma veikšana, rezultātu apkopošana un analizēšana, un secinājumu izdarīšana. Pētījumā tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka māsas profesionālajā darbībā lieto empātisku komunikāciju ar pacientu. Pētījumā tika izmantota kvantitatīva pētniecības metode, kur pētniecības instruments ir aptaujas anketa ar 22 jautājumiem. Pētījuma rezultāti pierādīja, ka māsas profesionālajā darbībā lieto empātisku komunikāciju ar pacientu. Komunikācijas veidošanā tiek pielietotas tādas empātijas komponentes kā emocionālā pārnese, kognitīvā empātija un empātiskas rūpes.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is "Usage of empathic communication in nursing professional practice ". In the context of healthcare today, it is ensured that health care professionals play an essential role in attentive, empathetic communication with the patient, not only in the technical execution of manipulation or general patient care. One of factors that especially affects the recovery of the patient and compliance is the quality of the nurse-patient contact, because the nurse is the first health care specialist who meets the patient and who is present during the entire treatment and care process. Interested, supportive and empathetic communication with the nurse promotes the patient's participation in the treatment process and improves recovery time. The aim of the thesis is to find out the use of empathic communication in the professional activities of nursing among practicing nurses within the framework of one hospital. The proposed research tasks are the analysis of scientific literature and research on empathy and empathic communication in health care and the professional role of nurses in it, the analysis of nursing theory in relation to empathetic patient care and communication, as well as the development of a research instrument, conducting research, collecting and analyzing results, and drawing conclusions. The study hypothesized that nurses use empathic communication with patients in their professional activities. The study used a research method where the quantitative research instrument is a questionnaire with 22 questions. The results of the study proved that nurses use empathetic communication with patients in their professional activities. Empathy components such as emotional transference, cognitive empathy and empathic concern are used in the formation of communication.
