Hronisku brūču aprūpe cukura diabēta pacientiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma “Hronisku brūču aprūpe cukura diabēta pacientiem”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka cukura diabēts ir plaši izplatīta hroniska saslimšana, kas izraisa nopietnas komplikācijas. Hroniskas brūces bieži rodas pacientiem ar cukura diabētu, jo šiem slimniekiem ir traucēta asinsrite kājās. Cukura diabēta pacientiem izveidojas pēdu problēmas, čūlas, kas bieži izraisa apakšējo ekstrimitāšu amputāciju. Darba pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot kāda ir nepieciešamā aprūpe cukura diabēta pacientiem ar hroniskām brūcēm. Mērķa sasniegšanai ir izvirzīti uzdevumi: analizēt Dorotejas Oremas pašaprūpes teoriju un izpētīt informāciju no zinātniskas literatūras avotiem par hronisku brūču aprūpi pacientiem ar cukura diabētu, veikt māsu intervēšanu, apkopot un izanalizēt iegūtos intervijas rezultātus. Pamatojoties uz darba mērķi tiek izvirzīts pētniecības jautājums – Kāda ir nepieciešama hronisku brūču aprūpe cukura diabēta pacientiem? Darbā tiek izmantota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode, ar strukturēto interviju. Darba struktūru veido – X rajona slimnīca, X Rīgas slimnīca, 10 ķirurģijas nodaļā strādājošas māsas. Pētījuma iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka cukura diabēta pacienti ar hroniskām brūcēm neievēro medicīnas personāla norādījumus un rekomendācijas, pacientiem nav izpratnes par komplikāciju atpazīšanu. Tāpēc tie paši pacienti atgriežas slimnīcā ar nopietnām komplikācijām. Cukura diabēta pacientiem jāpievērš lielu uzmanību pēdu kopšanai. Pacientiem trūkst informācijas par to, ka no valsts budžeta līdzekļiem tiek apmaksāta aprūpe diabētiskās pēdas aprūpes kabinetā, kur aprūpi nodrošina pēdu speciālists podologs.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is “Chronic Wound Care in Diabetic Patients”. The relevance of the topic is determined by the fact that diabetes mellitus is a widespread chronic disease which causes serious complications. Diabetic patients often have chronic wounds because of poor circulation in the legs. Diabetic patients have foot problems, ulcers which often lead to amputation of the lower extremities. The research aim is to learn what kind of care diabetic patients with chronic wounds require. The following objectives have been set to achieve the aim: analyse Dorothea Orem’s Self- Care Theory and study information available in scientific literature on chronic wound care in patients with diabetes, interview nurses, summarise and analyse the results of the interviews. Based on the research aim, the following research question has been posed: What kind of care is required for diabetic patients with chronic wounds? The qualitative research method with a structured interview is used in the study. The study is based on X Regional Hospital, Riga Hospital No. X, the nurses working in Surgical Unit No. 10. The research results show that diabetic patients with chronic wounds are not following the instructions and recommendations of the medical staff, the patients do not understand how to recognize complications. This is why the same patients return to the hospital with serios complications. It is important that diabetic patients take great care of their feet. Patients lack the information that the government covers the cost of diabetic foot care in doctor’s office where the care is provided by a foot care specialist called a podiatrist.
