Abstract

Darba tēma ir Sepse un septisks šoks hospitalizētiem pacientiem: incidence, mirstība un tendences Latvijā. Retrospektīvs administratīvo datu pētījums (2014-2020). Tēmas aktuālitāte: Latvijā ir maz pētīta sepses sastopamība un ietekme uz mirstību pieaugušo cilvēku populācijā hospitalizācijas laikā, kā arī 30, 90 un 365 dienu laikā pēc izrakstīšanās no slimnīcas. Darba mērķis: ir balstoties uz administratīvajiem datiem par laika periodu no 2014. gada līdz 2020. gadam, novērtēt ar sepsi un septisko šoku saistītas incidences, mirstību un tās tendences pieaugušajiem Latvijā. Pētījuma hipotēze: sepses un septiskā šoka incidence un ar sepsi saistītā mirstība pieaug katru gadu. Apkopojot pētījuma rezultātus, tika secināts, ka sepse incidence pacientiem ar Explicit un Implicit sepsi Latvijā ar katru gadu pieaug. Topic actuality: In Latvia, the incidence and impact of sepsis on mortality in the adult population have been little studied. The aim of the study: based on the administrative data for the period from 2014 to 2020, to assess the incidence, mortality, and trends in adults in Latvia related to sepsis and septic shock. The hypothesis: Sepsis and septic shock incidence and mortality associated with sepsis are increasing every year. Summarizing the results of the study, it was concluded, the incidence of sepsis in patients with Explicit and Implicit sepsis in Latvia is increasing every year.
