2. Analizēt D. Oremas māsu zinātnes teorijas pielietojumu darbā. 3. Izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu - strukturētu anketu un veikt pētījumu. 4. Analizēt iegūtos rezultātus. 5. Darba apjoms: darbs sastāv no 46 lappusēm, 21. attēla, 28. izmantotajiem literatūras avotiem, 3. pielikumiem. The topic of the bachelor's thesis:‘’Hemodialysis patient compliance in the treatment process’’. Relevance of the study: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized by high morbidity and mortality rates, as well as high healthcare costs. More than 800 million people worldwide are affected by this diagnosis. Patients with CKD require constant medical monitoring and treatment. The most common treatment therapy for CKD patients is hemodialysis, which is resource-intensive and very expensive. To ensure the return on invested effort, patient compliance is also necessary. Non-compliance of patients is a common problem in the case of chronic diseases. Research objective: The aim is to determine the patient's involvement in the hemodialysis treatment process. Research tasks: 1. Collect and analyze theoretical literature on the treatment of CKD, hemodialysis, patient care, and patient involvement in the hemodialysis treatment process. 2. Analyze the application of D. Orem's nursing science theory in the work. 3. Develop a research instrument - a structured questionnaire - and conduct the study. 4. Analyze the obtained results. 5. Draw conclusions and develop recommendations. Hypothesis formulated for the study: Patient compliance in hemodialysis is dependent on the progression of the disease. The hypothesis proposed for the study - that patient compliance in hemodialysis is dependent on the progression of the disease - is partially confirmed. The progression of the disease and the patient's well-being at that moment influence their compliance, but there are also other determining factors that can impact it. Research method: The study utilized a quantitative research method, and the research instrument used is a survey questionnaire. Keywords: patient, compliance, hemodialysis, chronic kidney disease. Scope of work: The thesis consists of 46 pages, 21 figures, 28 cited literature sources, and 2 appendices
