Māsas profesionālā loma darbā ar multiplās sklerozes pacientiemm

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māsas profesionālā loma darbā ar multiplās sklerozes pacientiem”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka fakts, ka multiplā skleroze ir sarežģīti diagnosticējama, strauji progresējoša centrālās nervu sistēmas saslimšana, kas nereti rezultējas ar invaliditāti gados jaunu pacientu vidū. Multiplā skleroze ir hroniska saslimšana, tādēļ šiem pacientiem mūža garumā ir nepieciešams ārstniecības un aprūpes komandas atbalsts. Māsa ietilpst šajā aprūpes komandā un turklāt, atkarībā no pacienta vajadzībām īsteno ne tikai aprūpes veicējas, bet arī citas savas profesionālās lomas. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot “Kāda māsas profesionālā loma prevalē darbā ar multiplās sklerozes pacientiem”. Mērķa sasniegšanai izvirzīti pētījuma uzdevumi ir analizēt teorētiskos materiālus par multiplās sklerozes klīniskajām izpausmēm un māsas profesionālajām lomām multiplās sklerozes pacientu aprūpes procesā, analizēt Dorotejas Oremas māszinību teoriju saistībā ar pētījuma tēmu, izveidot pētījuma instrumentu - interviju, veikt multiplās sklerozes pacientu aprūpē iesaistītu māsu intervēšanu, analizēt pētījuma rezultātus, izdarīt secinājumus. Pētniecības darbā pielietota kvalitatīvā petniecības metode un kā pētījuma instruments izveidota daļēji strukturēta intervija, kurā piedalījās piecas X veselības aprūpes iestādē strādājošas māsas, kuru ikdienas darbs saistīts ar multiplās sklerozes pacientiem. Pēc pētījumā iegūto datu analīzes jāsecina, ka darbā ar multiplās sklerozes pacientiem māsa galvenokātrt īsteno izglītotājas profesionālo lomu, bet tādas lomas kā pacienta interešu aizstāve un komunikācijas veicinātāja arī, pēc aptaujāto respondentu domām, ir svarīgas. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām un 12 apakšnodaļām. Ietvertas 9 tabulas un viena diagramma kā arī pievienoti 4 pielikumi. Pētījuma darbā tika izmantoti 32 literatūras avoti. Kopējais darba apjoms ir 50 lappuses.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "The professional role of the nurse in working with multiple sclerosis patients". The relevance of the topic is determined by the fact that multiple sclerosis is a difficult to diagnose, rapidly progressing disease of the central nervous system, which often results in disability among young patients. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic illness, these patients need the support of a treatment and care team throughout their life. The nurse is part of this care team and in addition, depending on the needs of the patient, performs not only care providers, but also other professional roles. The aim of the study was to find out "Which professional role of a nurse prevails in working with multiple sclerosis patients". The research tasks set for the goal are to analyze theoretical materials about the clinical manifestations of multiple sclerosis and the professional roles of nurses in the process of caring for patients with multiple sclerosis, to analyze Dorothea Orem's nursing theory in relation to the research topic, to create a research tool - an interview, to conduct an interviews with the nurses involved in the care of multiple sclerosis patients, to analyze the interview research results and draw conclusions. The qualitative research method was applied in the research work, and a structured interview was created as a research tool, involving the nurses working in X health care institution, whose daily work is related to multiple sclerosis patients. After the analysis of the data obtained from the study, it should be concluded that in the work with multiple sclerosis patients, the professional role of the educator is implemented with the main main role, but such roles as the defender of the patient's interests and the promoter of communication are also important, according to the interviewed respondents. The work consists of four chapters and 12 subsections. Contains 9 tables and one diagram. Four appendices are attached to the work. Total volume of the research paper is 50 pages.
