Jaunākā skolas vecuma bērnu brīvā laika pavadīšanas paradumi bibliotēkā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Jaunākā skolas vecuma bērnu brīvā laika pavadīšanas paradumi bibliotēkā” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā tiek piesaistīti bērni Madonas novada bibliotēkas bērnu literatūras nodaļā, kādus pakalpojumus tie visbiežāk izmanto. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi tiek analizētas piemērotas teorijas, izpētīti pakalpojumi Madonas bērnu literatūras nodaļā, analizēti bibliotēkas gada pārskati. Veikta novērošana un apstrādāti iegūtie dati, izstrādāti intervijas jautājumi un veikta intervija, izveidotas rekomendācijas Madonas novada bibliotēkai, apkopoti dati un izdarīti secinājumi. Pētījuma ietvaros tika izmantotas Maikla Kirtona adaptācijas un inovācijas teorija, un Duglasa Makgregora X un Y teorija, kā arī citi pētījumi par bibliotēkas vidi, labiekārtošanu un bērnu aktivitātēm tajās. Bakalaura darbā tiek izmantotas kvantitatīvās pētniecības metodes. Ar dokumentu analīzes metodi tika pētīti Madonas novada bibliotēku darba pārskati laika periodā no 2020. gada līdz 2022. gadam, tika veikta intervija ar Madonas novada bibliotēkas bērnu literatūras nodaļas vadītāju Līgu Fiļipovu, kā arī tika veikta novērošana, pētot jaunāka skolas vecuma bērnu darbības bibliotēkā. No pētījumā iegūtajiem datiem var secināt, kāda ir Madonas novada bibliotēkas bērnu literatūras nodaļas apmeklētība, kurš no pakalpojumiem piesaista bērnus un kā bibliotēkas darbinieki piesaista lasītājus, kā arī bibliotēkas vide un ar to saistītie faktori.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Younger school-age children`s free time habits in the library" is to find out how children are attracted to the children's literature department of Madona municipality library and what services they use most often. To achieve the aim, the theories were analysed, the services in the Children's Literature Department of Madona were studied, and the annual reports of the library were analysed. Observation and data processing were carried out, interview questions and interviews were developed, recommendations for the Madona Regional Library were made, data were summarised, and conclusions were drawn. The study used Michael Kirton's theory of adaptation and innovation, Douglas McGregor's theory X and Y, as well as other research on the library environment, atmosphere, and children's activities. Quantitative research methods are used in the bachelor thesis. The document analysis method was used to study the work reports of the Madona Regional Library in the period from 2020 to 2022, an interview with Līga Fiļipova, Head of the Children's Literature Department of the Madona Regional Library, as well as observation of the activities of younger school-age children in the library. From the data obtained in the study it is possible to conclude what is the attendance of the children's literature department of the Madona Regional Library, which of the services attract children and how the library staff attract readers, as well as the library environment and the factors surrounding it.
