Uzrunas formas izvēle no angļu valodas latviešu valodā tulkotajā praktiskās psiholoģijas žanra literatūrā

Praktiskās psiholoģijas literatūra piedāvā veidus, kā izmantot psiholoģijas zinātnes atziņas, lai risinātu dažādas cilvēka dzīves problēmas. Tai raksturīgs dialoģisks tonis, lasītājs tiek uzrunāts un iesaistīts ar dažādu valodas līdzekļu palīdzību. Tulkojot praktiskās psiholoģijas literatūru no angļu valodas latviešu valodā, tulkotājam ir jāpieņem lēmums, vai vietniekvārdu you tulkot kā jūs vai tu. Šis pētījums aplūko uzrunas formas izvēli noteicošos faktorus, uzrunas etiķeti latviešu valodā, tulkotajā praktiskās psiholoģijas literatūrā izmantotās uzrunas formas un lasītāju viedokli par uzrunas formām. Pēc 48 tulkoto grāmatu analīzes tika secināts, ka pieaug neformālās uzrunas formas tu lietojums. Praktiskās psiholoģijas literatūrā uzrunas formas izvēli ietekmē grāmatas tēma, teksta funkcija, autora stils un lasītāja iesaistes līmenis. Apkopojot anketēšanas rezultātus, tika secināts, ka lasītāji tulkotajā praktiskās psiholoģijas literatūrā izmantotās uzrunas formas atzīst par piemērotām. 53,3 % lasītāju dod priekšroku uzrunas formai tu. The applied psychology literature offers ways to benefit from the findings of the science of psychology in solving various problems in people's lives. The genre is characterized by a dialogical tone and use of a variety of linguistic devices to address and engage the reader. When translating practical psychology literature from English into Latvian, the translator has to decide whether to translate the pronou you as jūs or tu. This paper examines the factors influencing the choice of the form of address, terms of address in Latvian, the forms of address used in translated applied psychology literature and readers' opinions on the forms of address. The analysis of 48 translated books revealed that the use of the informal form of address tu is increasing. In practical psychology literature the choice of the form of address is determined by the topic of the book, the function of text, the author's style and the reader's level of involvement. The results of the survey show that readers find the forms of address used in translated practical psychology literature appropriate. 53.3% of the readers prefer the informal form of address tu.
