Maģistra darba mērķi ir noskaidrot vai un kā dzimtes stereotipi izpaužas 14. Saeimas deputātu kandidātu vīriešu un sieviešu komunikācijā sociālajā tīklā “Facebook” mēnesi pirms vēlēšanām, ar kādiem pārliecināšanas komunikācijas paņēmieniem iepriekš minētajā sociālajā tīklā kandidāti cenšas piesaistīt vēlētāju balsis, vai un kā dzimtes stereotipi izpaužas vēlētāju saziņā ar deputātu kandidātiem un kandidātēm. Papildus tam pētītas atšķirības valodas lietojumā starp vīriešiem un sievietēm 14. Saeimas deputāta kandidātiem/kandidātēm (sociolingvistiskais dzimtes modelis). Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā aprakstītas atšķirības starp jēdzieniem dzimums un dzimte, dzimtes lomas, dzimtes stereotipi, kā arī dzimtes aspekts politiskajā komunikācijā. Sociāli mediji un politiskā komunikācija, pārliecināšanas komunikācija un sociolingvistiskais dzimtes modelis. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda uz dzimtes stereotipu klātbūtni gan politiķu komunikācijā ar vēlētājiem, gan vēlētāju saziņā ar politiķiem. Vairāk tas novērojams vīriešu komunikācijā. The objectives of the master's thesis are to find out whether and how gender stereotypes are manifested in the communication of male and female candidates for the 14th Saeima deputies on the social network Facebook a month before the elections, with what persuasive communication techniques the candidates in the Facebook try to attract voters' votes, whether and how gender stereotypes are manifested in voter communication with parliamentary candidates. In addition, the differences in language use between male and female candidates for the 14th Saeima deputy (sociolinguistic gender model) were studied. The theoretical part of the study describes the differences between the concepts of sex and gender, gender roles, gender stereotypes, as well as the aspect of gender in political communication. Social media and political communication, persuasive communication and the sociolinguistic model of gender. The results of the study indicate the presence of gender stereotypes both in the communication of politicians with voters and in the communication of voters with politicians. It is more noticeable in men's communication.
