Skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpe

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpe”. Tēmas aktualitāti pamato tas, ka pēdējo gadu laikā, Covid-19 infekcijas ietekmē, ir aktualizējies jautājums par skābekļa terapiju. Līdz ar to rodas vairākas situācijas, kurās intensīvās terapijas nodaļas māsām ir nepieciešams nodrošināt skābekli pacientiem. Tomēr, lai sniegtu atbilstošu skābekļa aprūpi, nepieciešamas zināšanas, kas iekļauj gan tehniskās zināšanas, gan zināšanas par to, kā pacientiem sniegt pilnvērtīgāku dzīvi. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot galvenās problēmas ar kurām saskaras intensīvās terapijas nodaļas māsas veicot skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpi, kā arī izstrādāt priekšlikumus, kā nodrošināt skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu efektīvu aprūpi, ņemot vērā bakalaura darbā identificētās problēmas un izmantojot Virdžīnijas Hendersones pacienta vajadzību teoriju. Darba uzdevumi ir: 1) analizēt Virdžīnijas Hendersones teoriju un tās pielietojumu attiecībā uz skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpi; 2) apkopot un analizēt literatūras avotus un pētījumus par ieteikumiem skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpei; 3) veikt anketas protokola izstrādi; 4) veikt pētījumu un analizēt pētījumā saņemtos rezultātus; 5) izstrādāt secinājumus un priekšlikumus no pētījuma rezultātiem. Bakalaura darba hipotēze ir, ka intensīvās terapijas nodaļas māsām, kuras veic skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpi, trūkst zināšanu un tehniskā nodrošinājuma, lai pilnvērtīgi veiktu tādu pacientu aprūpi, kuriem nepieciešama regulāra skābekļa terapija un kuri slimo ar Covid-19. Darbā izmantotā pētniecības metode ir kvantitatīvs pētījums. Izmantotais pētniecības instruments ir anketa. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka intensīvās terapijas māsām ir pietiekams tehniskais nodrošinājums, lai nodrošinātu skābekļa atkarīgu pacientu aprūpi, bet tai pat laikā, nav pietiekošas zināšanas par to, kā veicama skābekļa terapija pacientiem, kuri slimo ar Covid-19.

The title of the bachelor thesis is "Care of Oxygen Dependent Patients". The relevance of the topic is because in recent years, under the influence of Covid-19 infection, the issue of oxygen therapy has been raised. Consequently, several situations have arisen in which intensive care unit nurses need to provide oxygen to patients. However, to provide adequate oxygen care it requires knowledge that includes both technical knowledge and knowledge of how to give patients a fulfilling life. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify the main problems intensive care unit nurses face when caring for oxygen dependent patients and to develop proposals to provide effective care for oxygen dependent patients, taking into account the problems identified in the bachelor thesis and using Virginia Henderson's Patient Needs Theory. The objectives of the thesis are: 1) to analyse Virginia Henderson's theory and its application to the care of oxygen dependent patients; 2) to collect and analyse literature sources and studies on recommendations for the care of oxygen dependent patients; 3) to develop a questionnaire protocol; 4) to conduct the study and analyse the results; 5) to develop conclusions and proposals from the results of the study. The hypothesis of the bachelor thesis is that intensive care unit nurses who care for oxygen dependent patients lack the knowledge and technical support to fully care for patients who require regular oxygen therapy, and who have Covid-19 infection. The research method used in this thesis is quantitative research method. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The study found that intensive care nurses have sufficient technical equipment to care for oxygen-dependent patients, but at the same time, there is insufficient knowledge about how to perform oxygen therapy to patients with Covid-19.
