Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Pacientu aprūpe pēc gūžas endoprotezēšanas operācijas”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka pieaugot Latvijas iedzīvotāju dzīvildzei un, līdz ar to populācijas vidējam vecumam, pieaug arī deģeneratīvo balsta sistēmas saslimšanu skaits.Visbiežāk sastopamā balsta sistēmas saslimšana, kura ietekmē lielās balsta sistēmas locītavas, ir osteoartrīts, kura ārstēšanas metodes ietver locītavu endoprotezēšanas operācijas. Pētījuma mērķis- izzināt, kādas īpatnības ir pacientu aprūpē pēc gūžas endoprotezēšanas operācijas. Pētījuma uzdevumi- •Izzināt Betijas Ņūmenas aprūpes sistēmas modeli •Analizēt literatūru par pacientu aprūpi pēc gūžas endoprotezēšanas operācijas •Izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu •Veikt intervijas ar vispārējās aprūpes māsām, kuras iesaistītas pacientu aprūpē pēc gūžas endoprotezēšanas operācijas •Veikt iegūto datu analīzi un apkopot ievāktos datus •Izdarīt secinājumus. The subject of this bachelors work is “Patient care after total hip replacement surgery” The relevance of subject is based on the increase of lifespan and the statistical average age of the population in Latvia, the consequence of which is the increased case numbers for bone degenerative diseases. The most common among diseases that affect skeleto-muscular system is one that affects the joints, especially the large joints – osteorathritis. Among the treatment options for osteoarthritis is total joint replacement surgeries. The goal of this paper is to research patient care specifics after total hip replacement surgery. Research goals- •To research Betty Neuman’s patient care model •To analyze literature on the subject of patient care after total hip replacement surgery •To develop a research instrument •To conduct interviews with general care nurses who specialize in care for patients after total hip replacement surgery •To assess the gathered data and collate the findings •To develop conclusions. The research query- What is the patient care after total hip replacement surgery like? To whicha conclusion was reached that the patient care after total hip replacement surgery requires holistic aproach with both proactive and reactive elements. The research method- qualitative research The research instrument- structured interview The research subject- 6 general patient care nurses from a specialized patient care institution that has specialty of joint replacement surgeries The research base- clinic X , with specialty of orthopedics and trauma surgery.
