Mantotās informācijas sistēmas modernizācijas stratēģijas izvēle

Abstract

Bakalaura darba temats “Mantotās informācijas sistēmas modernizācijas stratēģijas izvēle” ir veltīts esošās mantotas budžeta plānošanas un prognozēšanas informācijas sistēmas labākai modernizācijas stratēģijas izvēlei. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izvēlēties vienu modernizācijas stratēģiju mantotas informācijas sistēmai, kuras modernizācija tika uzticēta Latvijas IT-uzņēmumam SIA “Visma Labs”. Kā pamats tiks ņemts budžeta plānošanas un prognozēšanas informācijas sistēmas projekts. Bakalaura darbā autors veica mantotas informācijas sistēmas analīzi, lai noteiktu tās funkcijas, prasības, mērķus un problēmas, pēc kurām tiks atklāta nepieciešamība pēc mantotās sistēmas tās modernizācija. Bakalaura darba praktiskajā daļā autors izstrādāja modernizācijas plānu, kas ietver modernizācijas mērķu, tehnoloģiju kopuma un projekta vadības metodoloģijas izvēli. Izmantojot šo plānu, autors varēja noteikt labāko mantotas budžeta plānošanas un prognozēšanas informācijas sistēmas modernizācijas stratēģiju. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, teorētiskas un prakses daļas, ko veido trīs nodaļas, secinājumiem, literatūras saraksta un pielikumiem.

The bachelor thesis "Choosing a modernization strategy for a legacy information system" focuses on the choice of a better modernization strategy for an existing legacy budgeting and forecasting information system. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to select one modernization strategy for a legacy information system, the modernization of which was entrusted to the Latvian IT-company SIA "Visma Labs". The project of the budget planning and forecasting information system will be taken as a basis. In the bachelor thesis the author carried out an analysis of a legacy information system in order to determine its functions, requirements, objectives and problems, which will reveal the need for the legacy system to be modernized. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the author developed a modernization plan, which includes the selection of the modernization objectives, the set of technologies and the project management methodology. Using this plan, the author was able to determine the best strategy for the modernization of a legacy budgeting and forecasting information system. The thesis consists of an introduction, a theoretical and a practical part consisting of three chapters, conclusions, a list of references and annexes.
