Dzimtes reprezentācija kino. Jauniešu romantisko komēdiju analīze (1990-2010)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Dzimtes reprezentācija kino. Jauniešu romantisko komēdiju analīze (1990-2010)” mērķis ir noskaidrot kā tiek reprezentēti dzimumi un dzimtes stereotipi izvēlētā laika perioda jauniešu romantiskajās komēdijās. Teorijas daļā ir apkopota pētījumam atbilstoša literatūra par reprezentāciju, dzimumu un dzimti, stereotipiem, populāro kultūru, kino elementiem, romantiskās komēdijas žanru un dzimtes reprezentāciju populārajā kultūrā. Metodoloģijas daļā aprakstīta naratīva analīze un kontentanalīze, kas izmantota darba empīriskajā daļā, lai veiktu atlasīto filmu analīzi. Galvenie rezultāti rāda, ka analizētajās filmās kultivēti dažādi dzimtes stereotipi.

The Bachelor thesis "Gender Representation in Films. Analysis of Teen Romantic Comedies (1990-2010))" aim is to find out how gender and gender stereotypes are represented in teen romantic comedies of the selected time period. The theory part of the study summarises relevant literature on representation, gender and sex, stereotypes, popular culture, cinematic elements, the romantic comedy genre and gender representation in popular culture. The methodology part describes the narrative analysis and the . Content analysis used in the empirical part of the thesis to analyse the selected films. The main results show that the analysed films cultivate different gender stereotypes.
