Brāļu Koenu filmu “Lielais Lebovskis” un “Cilvēks, kura nebija” semiotiskā un naratīvā analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Džoela un Ītana Koenu filmu "Lielais Lebovskis" un "Cilvēks, kura nebija" semiotiskā un naratīvā analīze. Teorētiskajā daļā tiks aplūkoti termini, ar kuriem tiks veikta šo filmu izpēte: naratīvs, filmas naratīvs, vizuālais naratīvs, semiotika, filmu semiotika un filmu valoda. Tas, savukārt, ļaus veikt filmu semiotisko un naratīvo analīzi. Darba galvenie uzdevumi ir mērķi: izprast semiotikas un naratīva teoriju, filmu semiotiku, filmu naratīvu, iepazīties ar darbā izmantoto pētniecības metožu teoriju, izveidot metodoloģisko pieeju filmu analīzei, apkopot un analizēt iegūtos rezultātus un izdarīt secinājumus. Bakalaura darbā izmantotās metodes ir semiotiskā un naratīvā analīze.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is a semiotic and narrative analysis of Joel and Ethan Coen's films "The Big Lebowski" and "The Man Who Wasn't There". In the theoretical part, terms will be examined that will be used in the study of these films: narrative, film narrative, visual narrative, semiotics, film semiotics, and film language. This will, in turn, allow for a semiotic and narrative analysis of the films. The main tasks of the work are introductory parts: understanding the theory of semiotics and narrative, film semiotics, film narrative, becoming acquainted with the theory of research methods used in the work, developing a methodological approach to film analysis, compiling and analysing the obtained results, and making conclusions. The methods used in the bachelor's thesis are semiotic and narrative analysis.
