Māsas loma vēža skrīningu izpildes sekmēšanā ģimenes ārsta praksē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māsas loma vēža skrīningu izpildes sekmēšanā ģimenes ārsta praksē”. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka Latvijā pastāv zemie valsts apmaksāto vēža skrīningu atsaucības rādītāji, ko iespējams sekmēt ar ģimenes ārsta praksē nodarbināto personu darbībām. Darba mērķis ir analizēt māsas lomu vēža skrīningu izpildes sekmēšanā starp ģimenes ārsta praksē reģistrētājām sievietēm. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir veikt zinātniskās literatūras analīzi par vēža skrīningiem; veikt anketēšanu starp ģimenes ārsta praksē reģistrētājām sievietēm; balstoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem un secinājumiem, sniegt priekšlikumus ģimenes ārstu praksēs nodarbinātājām māsām vēža skrīningu izpildes sekmēšanai. Izvirzītā hipotēze ir tas, ka māsai ir būtiska loma ģimenes ārsta praksē reģistrēto sieviešu izglītošanā un informēšanā par vēža skrīningu izpildes aktualitāti un nozīmību. Pētniecības metode ir kvantitatīvā un pētniecības instruments ir anketa. Bija atklāts, ka 57% respondentu neveica vēža skrīningus. Neveikšanas galvenie iemesli ir informācijas trūkums par vēža skrīningiem, bailes no potenciālās skrīninga pozitīvās diagnozes, u.c. Tika noteikts, ka 88% respondentu uzticētos ģimenes ārsta praksē nodarbinātai māsai, lai sekmētu savu informētību par vēža skrīningiem un novērstu šķēršļus skrīningu savlaicīgai izpildei, saņemot psiholoģisko atbalstu un informāciju par skrīningu svarīgumu, pieteikšanas kārtību, u.c. Līdz ar to pētījuma izvirzītā hipotēze tika apstiprināta. Atslēgvārdi: vēzis, skrīnings, māsa, ģimenes ārsta prakse, anketa.

The topic of the Bachelor’s Thesis is “The role of the nurse in promoting the performance of cancer screenings in the family physician’s practice”. The topic is actual, as in Latvia there are low responsiveness rates of state-paid cancer screenings, which can be fostered by the activities of persons employed in the family physician’s practice. The aim of the work is to analyse the role of a nurse in fostering the execution of cancer screenings among women registered in the family physician’s practice. Research tasks are to execute an analysis of scientific literature on cancer screenings; conduct a questionnaire between women registered in the family physician’s practice; on the basis of the research results and conclusions, make proposals for nurses employed in the family physician’s practices to foster the execution of cancer screenings. The hypothesis raised is that the nurse plays an essential role in educating and informing women registered in family physician's practice about the importance of cancer screenings. The research method is quantitative and research tool is a questionnaire. It had been revealed that 57% of respondents did not conduct cancer screenings. The main reasons of not doing screenings are a lack of information about cancer screenings, a fear of a potential screening positive diagnosis, etc. It was determined that 88% of respondents would trust a nurse employed in the family physician's practice to raise their awareness of cancer screenings and remove obstacles to the execution of screenings, receiving psychological support and information on the importance of screenings, application procedures, etc. Therefore, the hypothesis of the research was confirmed.
