Ar pacientu drošību saistītie nevēlamie gadījumi, to identifikācija un ziņošanas sistēmas nozīmība māsu praksē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Ar pacientu drošību saistītie nevēlamie gadījumi, to identifikācija un ziņošanas sistēmas nozīmība māsu praksē” izstrādāts LU Medicīnas fakultātē. Mērķis: noskaidrot māsu zināšanas un pieredzi par ziņošanas sistēmas izmantošanas mērķi un ieguvumiem pacientu drošības uzlabošanā. Hipotēze: māsas ir zinošas par ziņošanas sistēmas izmantošanas mērķi un ieguvumu pacientu drošības uzlabošanā, kā arī motivētas to izmantot māsu praksē. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, kas satur piecas nodaļas, pētnieciskās daļas, kas satur divas apakšnodaļas, un 1 pielikuma. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā analizēta literatūra par ar pacientu drošību saistīto nevēlamo notikumu statistiku pasaulē un Latvijā, veikts šo nevēlamo gadījumu raksturojums, apskatīta ziņošanas sistēmas izveides vēsture un attīstība, kā arī aplūkota pasaules pieredze ziņošanas sistēmas izmantošanā un pacientu drošības uzlabošanā. Veikts kvantitatīvais pētījums, kura laikā aptaujātas 100 māsas vienā no Rīgas lielākajām slimnīcām. Respondenti sniedza atbildes uz aptaujas anketas 11 jautājumiem. Pētījuma beigās izdarīti secinājumi un gūts izvirzītās hipotēzes apstiprinājums. Darbā izmantoti 29 literatūras avoti, no tiem 3 latviešu valodā un 26 angļu valodā. Kopējais darba apjoms ir 37 lappuses, tas satur 9 attēlus. Atslēgas vārdi: pacientu drošība, māsa, ziņošana, ziņošanas sistēma, nevēlami gadījumi.

The Bachelor's thesis "Adverse Events Related to Patient Safety, Their identification and the Importance of the Reporting System in Nursing Practice" has been developed at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Latvia. Its aim was to explore the knowledge and experience of nurses regarding the purpose and benefits of using the reporting system to enhance patient safety. The hypothesis posited that nurses are cognizant of the purpose and benefits of using a reporting system to improve patient safety and are motivated to integrate it into nursing practice. The Bachelor's paper comprises a the theoretical part, consisting of five chapters, a research section with two subsections, and 1 appendice. The theoretical part of the study analyses the literature concerning the statistics of adverse events related to patient safety globally and in Latvia, describes the characteristics of these adverse events, reviews the history and evolution of the reporting system, and assesses global experiences in utilizing the reporting system to enhance patient safety. A quantitative study was conducted, surveying 100 nurses at one of Riga's largest hospitals. Respondents provided answers to 11 questions in the questionnaire. At the end of the study, conclusions were drawn and the proposed hypothesis was confirmed. In development of Bachelor's paper 29 literature sources have been used, 3 of them in Latvian and 26 in English. The total volume of the Bachelor's paper is 37 pages, it contains 9 figures.
