Māsas profesijas izvēli ietekmējošie faktori

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māsas profesijas izvēli ietekmējošie faktori”. Tēmas aktualitāte nosaka situācija, par ko tika ziņots 2023.gada sākumā, ka nepieciešamas papildus vēl vismaz 3000 māsu Latvija veselības aprūpes sistēmā (38). Ārzemju autoru pētījumu par līdzīgām tēmām rezultāti liecina, ka jārunā par faktoru kopumu, nevis vienu no faktoriem (20, 14, 8, 29). Darba mērķis: Noskaidrot, kādi ir galvenie faktori, kas ietekmē izvēli apgūt māsas profesiju. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir analizēt atbilstošu literatūru, analizēt H. Peplau teoriju saistībā ar darba tēmu, izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu – anketu un veikt respondentu aptauju, apkopot un analizēt iegūtos datus, noformēt secinājumus. Izvirzītā hipotēze: Vēlme strādāt palīdzošā profesijā un plašas darba iespējas ir galvenie māsas profesijas izvēli ietekmējošie faktori. Pētniecības metode: kvantitatīvā. Pētniecības instruments: anketa. Pētījuma rezultāti: 1.Faktori, kas visvairāk asociējas ar māsas profesiju, ko atzīmēja respondenti, ir plašas darba iespējas (63,8%, n=88) un nepieciešamība izjust aicinājumu, lai strādātu palīdzošā profesijā (62,3%, n=86). 2.Faktori, kas mudināja respondentus izvēlēties māsas profesiju, ir tas, ka māsas vienmēr ir vajadzīgas darbam veselības aprūpes iestādēs (42,8%, n=59), patīk palīdzēt līdzcilvēkiem (40,6%, n=56), kā arī jūt aicinājumu profesionāli attīstīties palīdzot cilvēkiem (26,1%, n=36). Šādas respondentu atbildes liecina, ka pētījuma hipotēze apstiprinās.

The subject of the bachelor work is "Factors influencing the choice of a nursing profession". The actuality of the topic is determined by the situation, which was reported at the beginning of 2023, that at least 3,000 additional nurses are needed in the health care system of Latvia (38). The results of studies by foreign authors on similar topics show that it is necessary to talk about a set of factors, not one of the factors (20, 14, 8, 29). The purpose of the work: To find out what are the main factors that influence the choice to learn the profession of nursing. The research tasks are to analyze relevant literature, analyze H. Peplau's theory in relation to the topic of the work, develop a research instrument - a questionnaire and conduct a survey of respondents, collect and analyze the obtained data, draw conclusions. Proposed hypothesis: The desire to work in a helping profession and wide job opportunities are the main factors influencing the choice of a nursing profession. Research method: quantitative. Research instrument: questionnaire. Research results: 1.The factors most associated with the nursing profession noted by the respondents are wide job opportunities (63.8%, n=88) and the need to feel called to work in a helping profession (62.3%, n=86). 2.The factors that encouraged the respondents to choose the nursing profession are that nurses are always needed for work in health care facilities (42.8%, n=59), like to help others (40.6%, n=56), and also feel a calling develop professionally by helping people (26.1%, n=36). Such responses from the respondents indicate that the research hypothesis will be confirmed.
