Ķirurģisko operāciju māsu izpratne par profesijas standartu, un standarta prasību izpildi ietekmējošie subjektīvie faktori

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs Ķirurģisko operāciju māsu izpratne par profesijas standartu, un standarta prasību izpildi ietekmējošie subjektīvie faktori sastāv no teorētiskās daļas un empīriskās daļas – pētījuma. Darba tēma autorei ir aktuāla personīgi, kā arī tēma var būt aktuāla plašākam interesentu lokam, ņemot vērā pašreizējo māszinību izglītības un māsu profesijas reformu un ar to saistīto profesijas standarta prasību uzlabošanu Latvijā. Pētījuma mērķis – noskaidrot praktizējošu ķirurģisko operāciju māsu izpratni par profesijas standarta prasībām un analizēt respondentu nosauktos subjektīvos, prasības ietekmējošos faktorus. Pētījuma jautājums: Kāda ir praktizējošu ķirurģijas operāciju māsu izpratne par profesijas standartu un kādi subjektīvie faktori ietekmē tā izpildi? Pētījumā pielietota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metodoloģija – kontentanalīze. Ar 12 atvērtu jautājumu palīdzību aptaujāti 9 respondenti – Latvijā praktizējošas ķirurģisko operāciju māsas. Galvenais izvirzītais secinājums: operāciju māsas primāri koncentrējas uz darba devēja izvirzīto amata pienākumu izpildi un pielāgojas darba devēja piedāvātajiem darba apstākļiem. Ar māsu nosauktajiem subjektīvajiem profesijas standarta prasību izpildi ietekmējošajiem faktoriem var iepazīties, izlasot šo darbu. This BScN level thesis - Knowledge of the standard precautions and subjective factors influencing compliance with them among operating room nurses - is comprised of the theoretical and the empirical parts. This research paper addresses complex challenges related to subjective factors influencing compliance with the standard precautions, mentioned by the interviewed practicing operating room nurses in Latvia. The theme was selected by the author for personal causes, as well as to address the ongoing process of nurse profession reform in Latvia and the related standard amendments thereof. The empirical part aims at finding out and analyzing subjective factors influencing compliance with the standard precautions, mentioned by 9 practicing operating room nurses in Latvia, who took part in a qualitative research interview consisting of 12 open-ended questions. The research question: What is the knowledge of the standard precautions among the operating room nurses and what are the subjective factors, mentioned by the respondents, influencing compliance with these precautions? Main conclusion drawn: operating room nurses primarily concentrate on the job assignments set by their employer, as well as accept the work environment conditions provided by the employer.
