Rīku izstrāde emociju un reakcijas laiku saistības novērtējumam RSVP uzdevumos

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika izstrādāti rīki, kas ļauj iegūt dalībnieka emocionālo novērtējumu, izmantojot Ženēvas emociju apli, un fiksēt reakcijas laiku, izmantojot RSVP metodi. Tēma ir aktuāla, jo ir nepieciešamība labāk izprast emocionālo stāvokļu ietekmi uz kognitīvajiem procesiem un lai to veiktu pētniekiem ir nepieciešami rīki datu iegūšanai un analīzei. Šajā darbā tika veikts pētījums, kas ietvēra eksperimentu, izmantojot izstrādātos rīkus. Eksperimentā dalībniekiem tika uzdots identificēt savas šī brīža emocijas un pēc tam veikt RSVP reakcijas testu. Veikta iegūto datu analīze, lai novērtētu kā emocionālais novērtējums korelē ar reakcijas laiku. Pēc veiktā eksperimenta tika novērots, ka dalībnieku emocijas ietekmēja reakcijas laikus. Tika noskaidrots, ka negatīvas emocijas rezultē ar sliktākiem reakcijas laikiem, nekā pozitīvas emocijas, aspkatot gan atsevišķu emociju ietekmi, gan dalībnieku kopējā emocionālā novērtējuma saistību ar reakcijas laikiem.

As part of the bachelor's thesis, tools were developed that allow to obtain the emotional assessment of the participant using the Geneva emotion wheel and to record the reaction time using the RSVP method. The topic is relevant because there is a need to better understand the impact of emotional states on cognitive processes, and to do this, researchers need tools for data collection and analysis. As part of the work, a study was carried out, which included an experiment using the developed tools. In the experiment, participants were asked to identify their current emotions and then complete an RSVP reaction test. An analysis of the obtained data was carried out in order to evaluate how the emotional evaluation correlates with the reaction time. After the experiment it was concluded that people’s emotions affect reaction times. It was found that negative emotions result in worse reaction times than positive emotions, considering both the influence of individual emotions and the relationship of the participants overall emotional assessment with reaction times.
