Metadatu loma ETL procesu veiktspējas uzlabošanā

Abstract

Metadati sniedz būtisku informāciju par datu struktūru, kvalitāti un izcelsmi, kuru izmantošana var uzlabot ETL procesu veiktspēju. Bakalura darba ietvarā tika veikts pētījums, kur tika izpētītas vairākas ETL procesu veiktspējas uzlabošanas metodes, metadatu veidi un to ietekme uz dažādām ETL procesa fāzēm - datu ieguvi, transformāciju un ielādi. Izmantojot detalizētu analīzi un praktiskus eksperimentus, pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka metadatu izmantošana ne tikai uzlabo ETL procesa veiktspēju, bet arī uzlabo vispārējo datu pārvaldību, nodrošinot efektīvu un uzticamu datu integrāciju.

Metadata provides essential information about the structure, quality, and origin of data, the use of which can improve the performance of ETL processes. As part of the bachelor's work, a study was conducted where several methods of improving the performance of ETL processes, types of metadata and their impact on the phases of the ETL process - data extraction, transformation and loading - were investigated. Through detailed analysis and practical experiments, the research results show that the use of metadata not only improves the performance of the ETL process, but also improves the overall data management, ensuring efficient and reliable data integration.
