Formu līdzības uztveres reakcijas laiks

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tika veikts pētījums par reakcijas laiku, kādā cilvēki izvēlas figūru/formu, kas līdzīgākā aplim. Tika aplūkots arī kāda ir izdarītā izvēle un kādi faktori to ietekmē. Pārbaudei veidoti stimuli atļauj veikt dažādu faktoru, noapaļotības, stūru skaita, proporcijas, bilaterālās simetrijas, asimetriskuma ietekmes analīzi. Veikta pārbaudes rīka izveide, izmantojot PsyToolkit rīku. Izveidotajā eksperimentā ievākti derīgi rezultāti no (n=55) dalībniekiem. Datu analīze ietvēra daļu no iespējamām ietekmējošo faktoru pārbaudēm. Ja jāsalīdzina divas regulāras figūras, secināts ka aplim tiek vairāk pielīdzināta figūra, kas ir ar vairāk stūriem. Konstatēts ka izvēli starp divām regulārām figūrām veikt grūtāk, ja šīs figūras ir noapaļotas. Vidējais reakcijas laiks izvēles izdarīšanai šajā eksperimentā bija 879ms. Darba laikā veikta statiskā analīze. Eksperimenta rezultāti ir publiski pieejami ikvienam, lai būtu iespēja veikt vēl padziļinātu pētījumu.

In this bachelor's thesis, a study was conducted on the reaction time in which people choose the figure/shape most similar to a circle. The choices made and the factors influencing them were also examined. The stimuli created for the test allowed for the analysis of various factors such as roundness, number of corners, proportion, bilateral symmetry, and asymmetry. A testing tool was developed using the PsyToolkit tool. In the experiment, valid results were collected from (n=55) participants. The data analysis included part of the possible influencing factor tests. When comparing two regular figures, it was concluded that the figure with more corners is more often perceived as similar to a circle. It was found that it is more difficult to make a choice between two regular figures if these figures are rounded. The average reaction time for making a choice in this experiment was 879ms. Statistical analysis was performed during the study. The results of the experiment are publicly available to everyone, providing the opportunity for further in-depth research.
