Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Latvijas farmācijas nozares konkurētspējas analīze. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas farmācijas nozares konkurētspēju Baltijas reģionā, atklāt galvenos konkurētspēju kavējošos faktorus un sagatavot priekšlikumus nozares konkurētspējas veicināšanai. Darba gaitā autors iepazinies ar konkurētspējas teoriju un kā tā ietekmē ekonomiku, izanalizējis Latvijas farmācijas nozares konkurētspēju un salīdzinājis to ar Baltijas kaimiņvalstu farmācijas nozarēm un to konkurētspēju. Apskatījis lielāko farmācijas uzņēmumu gada pārskatus un analizējis tos. Pētījuma rezultātā autors izsecina Latvijas farmācijas nozares konkurētspēju - Baltijas reģionā, un izsaka priekšlikumus farmācijas nozares attīstības veicināšanai.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the competitiveness of the Latvian pharmaceutical industry. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to study the competitiveness of the Latvian pharmaceutical industry in the Baltic region, to reveal the main factors hindering competitiveness and to prepare proposals for the promotion of the industry's competitiveness. During the course of the research, the author got acquainted with the theory of competitiveness and how it affects the economy, analyzed the competitiveness of the Latvian pharmaceutical industry and compared it with the pharmaceutical industries of the neighboring Baltic countries and their competitiveness. Reviewed and analyzed the annual reports of major pharmaceutical companies. As a result of the research, the author concludes the competitiveness of the Latvian pharmaceutical industry in the Baltic region and accepts proposals for promoting the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
