Kaucmindes muižas pils atmiņu stāstos un publikācijās

Abstract

Kaucmindes muižas pils uzskatāma par Latvijas kultūrā un vēsturē nozīmīgu arhitektūras pieminekli ar bagātu vēsturi. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izzināt šo senās Kaucmindes pils vēsturi caur digitālu un drukātu publikāciju izpēti un analīzi un intervijām. Pētījums balstīts pamatotajā teorijā, kas datu ieguves laikā paredz nepārtraukti salīdzinošu analīzi. Mērķa sasniegšanai izmantotas kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes, primāri veikta dokumentu analīze, to papildinot ar intervijām. Pētījuma rezultātā Kaucmindes vēsture aprakstīta četros laika periodos – “Muižas pirmsākumi, 1684 – 1920”, “Kaucmindes Mājturības skola un seminārs, 1922 – 1944”, “Juku laiki, 1944 – 1999” un “Mūsdienas”. Izdalītie posmi apraksta muižas pils pielietojumu katrā periodā. Vadoties pēc pamatotās teorijas, aprakstīta teorija par Kaucmindes muižas pils likteni.

Kaucminde manor castle is considered an important architectural monument in Latvian culture and history with a rich past. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to learn this history of the ancient Kaucminde castle through the research and analysis of digital and printed publications and interviews. The research is based on grounded theory, which intends for constant comparative analysis during data collection. Qualitative research methods were used to achieve the aim, document analysis being carried out primarily, complemented by interviews. The research resulted with the history of Kaucminde described in four time periods – "Manor origins, 1684 – 1920", "Kaucminde Home Economics School and Seminar, 1922 – 1944", "Time of pandemonium, 1944 – 1999" and "Modern times". The divided stages describe the use of the manor castle in each period. Guided by the grounded theory, the theory about the fate of the Kaucminde manor castle is described.
