Attēlu tematiskā apstrāde: kvalitātes novērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā pētīta Google Photos indeksēšanas kvalitāte, nosakot pilnīgumu vienkāršās atlases meklēšanas un pārlūkmeklēšanas rezultātiem, un kategorizēšanas precizitāte automātiski izveidotām kategorijām tekstus un simbolus saturošiem attēliem. Pētījuma veikšanai pielietota gadījuma analīze. Empīriskā pētījuma veikšanai astoņi lietotāji dalījās ar personīgajām attēlu kolekcijām un pie 10 attēliem pievienoja atslēgvārdus. Google Photos tematiskās apstrādes kvalitātes analizēšanai tika izmantoti 469 attēli. Lai noskaidrotu pārlūkošanas un vienkāršās meklēšanas pilnīguma rādītāju un dokumentu kategoriju precizitāti tika pielietota kontentanalīze. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka Dokumentu sadaļā attēli tiek kārtoti ar augstu precizitāti un kategoriju nosaukumi ir vispārīgi. Vienkāršā meklēšanā pielietojot lietotāju atslēgvārdus pilnīguma rādītājs ir vidēji zems. Pārlūkmeklēšanas kategorijām un vienkāršai meklēšanai pielietojot kategoriju nosaukumu atslēgvārdus meklēšanas rezultātu pilnīgums būtiski neatšķiras, tas ir vidēji augsts.

The bachelor's thesis investigated the indexing quality of Google Photos by determining the recall of simple selection search and browsing results, and the categorization precision of automatically generated categories for images containing texts and symbols. Case analysis was used for the research. For the empirical study, eight users shared their personal image collections and added keywords to 10 images. 469 images were used to analyse the quality of Google Photos thematic processing. Content analysis is applied to find out the recall index of browsing and simple search and precision of document categories. The research found that the images in the Documents section are sorted with high precision and the category names are generic. In a simple search using user keywords, the completeness index is moderately low. Recall of the search results does not differ significantly when applying category name keywords for browsing categories and simple search, it is moderately high.
