Abstract

Bakalaura darba autors: Alma Krēgere Bakalaura darba nosaukums: Galda spēles vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu kritiskās domāšanas un problēmu risināšanas prasmju attīstībai. Pētījuma mērķis: Izpētīt un raksturot kā dažādas galda spēles veicina kritiskās domāšanas un problēmu risināšanas prasmes vēcākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem, izstrādāt ieteikums pedagogiem. Pētījuma hipotēze: Problēmu risināšanas un kritiskās domāšanas prasmes bērniem tiek attīstītas spēlējot tādas galda spēles, kas: •Ir bērniem saistošas un izaicinošas; •Piedāvā iespējas izvēlēties dažādus risinājumu, pieņemt lēmumus un saskatīt likumsakarības. Bakalaura darba teorētiskā daļa: Tiek veikta pedagoģiskās un psiholoģiskās literatūras analīze par bērnu attīstības īpatnībām pirmsskolas vecākajā vecumposmā. Teorētiskajā daļā arī aprakstīti 5–6 gadus vecu bērnu problēmu risināšana un kritiskās domāšanas attīstības paņēmieni, minēti dažādi piemēri ar kāda tipa galda spēlēm šīs prasmes iespējams attīstīt un skaidrots, kā galda spēļu spēlēšanu veiksmīgāk iesaistīt mācību procesā. Bakalaura darba empīriskā daļa: Tiek apkopoti rezultāti par bērnu problēmu risināšanas un kritiskās domāšanas prasmēm galda spēles procesā pirms un pēc pedagoģiskās darbības. Tiek analizēts bērnu sniegums spēlējot dažāda veida galda spēles, aprakstīts, kā bērni izprot spēles mērķi, analizē pieejamo informāciju, izvirza dažādus risinājumus un veido secinājumus par galda spēles gaitu. Nobeigumā ir izstrādāti secinājumi par pētījumā iegūtajiem datiem un saistībā ar tiem veidoti ieteikumi pedagogiem. Bakalaura darba apjoms ir 56 lappuses, tajā ir 30 attēli, 5 tabulas, 43 bibliogrāfiskā saraksta vienības un 7 pielikumi. The purpose of the study: To investigate and describe how various board games promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills in older preschool children. In addition, develop recommendations for educators for the upcoming endeavours. Hypothesis of the study: Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are developed in children by participating in board games that: • Are engaging and challenging for children. • Offers opportunities to choose different solutions, make decisions and observe regularities. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis: An analysis of pedagogical and psychological literature on the peculiarities of children's development in the older ages of preschool. The theoretical part also describes problem-solving and critical thinking development techniques for 5-6-year-old children, mentioning various examples of which types of board games can be used to develop and induce these skills, furthermore it explains how to involve board games more successfully in the learning process. The empirical part of the bachelor's thesis: The capabilities of children's problem-solving and critical thinking skills are observed in the process of the board game, distinguishing them before and after the pedagogical activity. The performance of children playing different types of board games is analysed, describing how children understand the purpose of the game, examine the available information, propose different solutions, and draw conclusions about the board game. Ergo, conclusions have been made about the data obtained in the study and recommendations for educators have been conducted based on the gathered evidence. The volume of the bachelor thesis is 56 pages, it contains 30 images, 5 tables, 43 items of the bibliographic list and 7 appendices.
