Emocionālā intelekta saistība ar pedagogu izdegšanu darba vidē

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt emocionālā intelekta (EI) saistību ar pedagogu izdegšanu darba vidē, analizējot, kā EI ietekmē izdegšanas simptomus. Izvirzītā hipotēze ir, ka skolotāji ar augstāku EI līmeni piedzīvo mazāku izdegšanu nekā kolēģi ar zemāku EI līmeni. Pētījumā piedalījās 105 Latvijas pedagogi, kuri aizpildīja “Emocionālā intelekta aptauju” un “Izdegšanas apakštipu aptauju”. Rezultāti liecina, ka augstāks EI līmenis ir statistiski nozīmīgi saistīts ar zemākiem izdegšanas rādītājiem. Pedagogi ar augstākiem EI rādītājiem biežāk spēj efektīvi vadīt emocijas un samazināt izdegšanas risku. Pētījumā “Skolotāju balss” atklājās, ka 33% skolotāju jūtas demotivēti, 27% izjūt pesimismu par nākotni, 48% bieži strādā virsstundas, un tikai 17% strādā normālu slodzi. 60% skolotāju uzsver laika trūkumu pienākumu veikšanai, un puse veic citas funkcijas skolā. Šie dati norāda uz emocionālām un psiholoģiskām problēmām, kas ietekmē darba kvalitāti un attieksmi pret profesiju. Emocionālais intelekts var palīdzēt skolotājiem labāk pārvaldīt stresu un emocionālās problēmas, kas bieži rodas darba procesā. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka emocionālā intelekta attīstība var būt būtisks resurss pedagogu emocionālās labklājības uzlabošanai un izdegšanas simptomu pārvaldīšanai. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and burnout among teachers in the workplace, analyzing how EI affects burnout symptoms. The hypothesis is that teachers with higher EI levels experience less burnout compared to their colleagues with lower EI levels. The study involved 105 Latvian teachers who completed the "Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire" and the "Burnout Clinical Subtype Questionnaire." Results indicate that higher EI levels are statistically significantly associated with lower burnout rates. Teachers with higher EI scores are more often able to effectively manage emotions and reduce the risk of burnout. The "Teachers' Voice" study revealed that 33% of teachers feel demotivated, 27% feel pessimistic about the future, 48% often work overtime, and only 17% work a normal workload. Additionally, 60% of teachers emphasize a lack of time to complete their duties, and half of them perform additional functions at school. These data indicate emotional and psychological issues that affect work quality and attitudes towards the profession. Emotional intelligence helps teachers better manage stress and emotional problems that often arise during the work process. The study's results show that the development of emotional intelligence can be a crucial resource for improving teachers' emotional well-being and managing burnout symptoms.
