LEAN principu izmantošana pašvadītas mācīšanās sekmēšanai pirmsskolā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “LEAN principu izmantošana pašvadītas mācīšanās sekmēšanai pirmsskolā” izstrādāts ar mērķi izzināt LEAN pieejas izmantošanas iespējas pirmsskolas mācību vides pilnveidošanā bērnu pašvadītas mācīšanās sekmēšanai, izstrādāt konceptuālo modeli LEAN integrēšanai pirmsskolas mācību procesā un uzsākt tā aprobāciju praksē. LEAN pieeja definējama kā pārvaldības prakses kopums, lai uzlabotu organizācijas darbības efektivitāti, novēršot “atkritumus” – lietas un procesus, kas patērē laiku un resursus, taču nerada vērtību un nav saistīti ar mērķu sasniegšanu. Darba teorētiskajā daļā analizēti LEAN principi un apkopota pieredze to izmantošanā izglītības vidē. Balstoties uz pirmsskolas skolotāju aptaujas un administrācijas pārstāvju interviju rezultātiem identificētas galvenās problēmas, kas kavē efektīvu skolotāju darbu grupās un rada nepietiekami atbalstošu vidi bērnu pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmju attīstībai. Risinot šīs problēmas, izstrādāts LEAN ieviešanas modelis un uzsākta tā aprobāciju – ir novadīts pirmais seminārs skolotājiem, iegūstot atgriezenisko saikni par LEAN atbilstību pirmsskolas pedagoģiskajam procesam. Balstoties uz skolotāju sniegtajām atziņām maģistra darba noslēgumā ir izstrādāti vispusīgi ieteikumi par LEAN ieviešanas posmiem pirmsskolas izglītības iestādēs.

The Master Thesis “Using LEAN principles to promote salf-directed learning in preschool” has been developed to identify the potential application of the LEAN approach for improvement of preschool learning environment with the view to foster self-managed learning in children; to develop a conceptual model for integration of the LEAN approach in preschool learning process, and to initiate the approbation thereof in practice. The LEAN approach can be defined as a set of managerial practice aimed at improvement of operational effectiveness of the organization through elimination of “waste” – things and processes that consume time and resources yet they generate no value and are not related to the achievement of goals. The LEAN principles are analyzed in theoretical part of the thesis, and experience with their application in educational environment is summarized. Based on opinion poll of preschool teachers and results of interviews conducted with representatives of administration, the key problems have been identified that hinder effective teachers’ work in groups and prevent the provision of adequately supportive environment for the development of self-managed learning skills in children. To tackle such problems, a LEAN implementation model has been developed and approbation thereof has been initiated: the first seminar has been conducted for teaches to provide feedback on compatibility of LEAN with the preschool pedagogic process. Comprehensive recommendations on the LEAN implementation stages at preschool educational establishments are developed in conclusions of the Master Thesis based on the opinions received from teachers.
