KORĪ DZIEDĀŠANAS SAISTĪBA AR NACIONĀLĀS IDENTITĀTES IZJŪTU, PIEDERĪBAS IZJŪTU LATVIJAI UN PSIHOLOĢISKO LABKLĀJĪBU LATVIJAS IEDZĪVOTĀJIEM

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot piederības izjūtas Latvijai, nacionālās identitātes un psiholoģiskās labklājības saistību ar korī dziedāšanas ilgumu un nozīmību kora dalībniekiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 dalībnieki, (N=100), vīrieši un sievietes, kas dzied korī, vai kam ir korī dziedāšanas pieredze vecumā no 25-65 gadiem (M=50,1). Tika izmantota Psiholoģiskās labklājības aptauja (Scale of Psychological Well-Being, Ryff, 1989); Nacionālās identitātes skala (National identity scale, Čorkalo and Camenov, 1999); Piederības izjūta Latvijai - Piederības izjūta sociālā kontekstā skalas “The Sense of Belonging in Social Context Questionnaire” (Koļesovs, 2019) 1 apgalvojums 5 punktu likerta skalā - “Cik piederīgs Jūs jūtaties Latvijas valstij?” un Korī dziedāšanas ilgums un nozīmība 6 jautājumi (1. Cik gadus dziedat korī? 2. Cik bieži Jūs apmeklējat mēģinājumus? 4. Cik nozīmīgi Jums ir dziedāt korī? 5. Cik reizes Jūs esat piedalījies Dziesmusvētkos? 6. Kā Jūs vērtējat kordziedāšanu kā patriotisku aktivitāti?) un demogrāfisko datu bloks. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka pastāv lineāra sakarība starp piederības izjūtu Latvijai un korī dziedāšanas nozīmību. Starp pārējiem konstruktiem nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas lineāras sakarības. Tādējādi iespējams secināt, ka darbā izvirzītā hipotēze var tikt daļēji apstiprināta. Uz pētījuma jautājumu tika atbildēts, norādot, ka augstāka piederības izjūta Latvijai prognozē indivīda augstāku korī dziedāšanas nozīmību.

The aim of the study was to determine the connection between the sense of belonging to Latvia, national identity, and psychological well-being with the duration and significance of choir singing for choir members. The study involved 100 participants (N=100), men and women, who sing in choirs or have choir singing experience, aged between 25-65 years (M=50.1). The Psychological Well-Being Survey (Scale of Psychological Well-Being, Ryff, 1989); National Identity Scale (National identity scale, Čorkalo and Camenov, 1999); Sense of Belonging to Latvia - Sense of Belonging in Social Context from the "The Sense of Belonging in Social Context Questionnaire" (Koļesovs, 2019) 1 statement on a 5-point Likert scale - "How connected do you feel to the state of Latvia?" and the duration and significance of choir singing 6 questions (1. How many years have you sung in a choir? 2. How often do you attend rehearsals? 4. How important is choir singing to you? 5. How many times have you participated in the Song Festival? 6. How do you rate choir singing as a patriotic activity?) and a block of demographic data. The study found that there is a linear relationship between the sense of belonging to Latvia and the significance of choir singing. No statistically significant linear relationships were found among the other constructs. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in the study can be partially confirmed. The research question was answered, indicating that a higher sense of belonging to Latvia predicts a higher significance of choir singing for the individual.
