Vecāku kompetences izjūta, iejūtība pret sevi un pēcdzemdību saikne ar bērnu sievietēm ar dažadu dzemdību vides pieredzi

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, kādas ir atšķirības vecāku kompetences izjūtā, iejūtībā pret sevi un pēcdzemdību saiknē ar bērnu sievietēm ar dažādu dzemdību vides pieredzi. Pētījumā piedalījās 362 sievietes, vecumā no 18 līdz 45 gadiem, kurām pēdējā gada laikā ir bijušas dzemdības. Dalībnieces tika sadalītas divās grupās atkarībā no dzemdību vides – 45 plānotas un piedzīvotas mājdzemdības un 308 plānotas un piedzīvotas dzemdības stacionārā. Pētījumā tika izmantota Vecāku kompetences izjūtas skala – būt mātes lomā (Parenting Sense of Competence Scale), Iejūtības pret sevi skala (Self-Compassion Scale), Pēcdzemdību saiknes aptauja (The Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire), ievākta informācija par dzemdību pieredzi un demogrāfiskie dati. Rezultāti apstiprina spēcīgu pozitīvu saistību starp vecāku kompetences izjūtu, iejūtību pret sevi un pēcdzemdību saikni ar bērnu gan mājdzemdību grupā, gan grupā, kurā sievietes dzemdēja stacionārā. Iejūtīga un pozitīva attieksme pret sevi un pārliecība par savām spējām vecāku lomā ir cieši saistīta ar stiprāku emocionālo saikni ar bērnu. Rezultāti norāda, ka pastāv nozīmīgas atšķirības vecāku kompetences izjūtā, iejūtībā pret sevi un pēcdzemdību saiknē ar bērnu starp sievietēm ar dzemdību pieredzi stacionārā un sievietēm ar mājdzemdību pieredzi. Sievietes, kuras dzemdējušas mājās, uzrādīja augstākus vecāku kompetences izjūtas rādītājus, ieskaitot lielāku apmierinātību un efektivitāti savā mātes lomā.

The aim of the study was to explore differences in parenting sense of competence, self-compassion, and postpartum bonding with the child among women with different childbirth environment experiences. The study included 362 women aged 18 to 45 who had given birth within the last year. Participants were divided into two groups based on their childbirth environment: 45 planned and experienced home births and 308 planned and experienced hospital births. The Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, Self-Compassion Scale, The Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire were used in the study, and information on childbirth experience and demographic data were collected. The results confirm a strong positive association between parenting sense of competence, self-compassion, and postpartum bonding with the child in both groups - the home birth group and the hospital birth group. A self-compassionate and positive attitude towards oneself, as well as confidence in parenting abilities, is closely related to a stronger emotional bond with the child. The results indicate significant differences in parenting sense of competence, self-compassion, and postpartum bonding with the child between women with hospital birth experiences and those with home birth experiences. Women who gave birth at home demonstrated higher levels of parenting sense of competence, including greater satisfaction and effectiveness in their maternal role.
