Dabas materiālu izmantošana bērnu attīstības sekmēšanai matemātikas un valodas jomā

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darba nosaukums ir “Dabas materiālu izmantošana bērnu attīstības sekmēšanai matemātikas un valodas jomā”. Darba autore ir Dace Kuriga. Mērķis ir izpētīt un praktiski pārbaudīt dabas materiālu izmantošanas metodes iekštelpās matemātikas un valodas jomā. Lai noskaidrotu pirmsskolas 3.posma nepieciešamās valodas un matemātikas prasmes, tika veikta dokumentu un literatūras analīze. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika apskatīta arī literatūra par dabas materiālu pienesumu un izmantošanas veidiem pedagoģiskajā procesā. No teorētiskajā nodaļā iegūtās informācijas tika izveidota kritēriju tabula, kurā izvirzītas matemātikas un valodas mācību prasmes un atbilstoša dabas materiālu metode. Dabas materiālu metodes tika izmantotas empīriskajā daļā, lai veiktu pedagoģisko izmēģinājumdarbību un novērošanu. Iegūtā informācija, novērojot bērnus darbībā ar dabas materiāliem, tika izmantota, lai veiktu secinājums un atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumu, kā izmantot dabas materiālus matemātikas un valodas prasmju attīstības sekmēšanai pirmsskolas 3.posmā? Pētījuma noslēgumā tika secināts, ka dabas materiāli ir daudzfunkcionāli, jo tos var izmantot gan valodas, gan matemātikas prasmju attīstības veicināšanas uzdevumos. Tie rosina bērnus izmantot visas maņas, aptaustīt un iepazīt dažādas tekstūras, kā arī izmantot tos savstarpējai komunikācijai. Ņemot vērā, ka dabas materiāli saskatāmi arī ārpus mācību iestādes, bērniem tie veido saikni ar vidi. Salīdzinot bērnu zināšanas valodas un matemātikas jomā pētījuma sākumā un noslēgumā, var novērot, ka bērni arī ārpus mācību iestādes saredz valodas un matemātikas elementus, kā arī ir novērojams progress bērnu zināšanu līmenī atbilstoši izvirzītajiem kritērijiem. Pētījumam ir 38 lapaspuses, neskaitot pielikumus, 18 attēli un 6 tabulas. Izmantoto avotu un literatūras vienību skaits ir 21. The title of the qualification paper is "The use of natural materials to promote children’s development in mathematics and language". The author of the research is Dace Kuriga. The aim is to explore and practically test the methods of using natural materials in indoor areas in mathematics and language. To find out the necessary language and mathematics skills of 5 and 6 years old, author made an analysis of documents and pedagogical literature. In the theoretical part of the work, the literature on the contribution and ways of using natural materials in the pedagogical process was also examined. From the information obtained in the theoretical part, a table of criteria was created, which emphasizes the necessary skills of mathematics and language and the appropriate method of natural materials. The methods of natural materials were used in the empirical part to carry out pedagogical experiments and observation. The information obtained by observing children in action with natural materials was used to make a conclusion and answer the research question - ow to use natural materials to promote the development of math and language skills in the 3rd stage of preschool? After the evaluation of children’s development during the research period, it can be concluded that natural materials are multifunctional teaching aids that encourage children not only to use all their senses indoors, to get to know different materials and to communicate about them, but also to form a connection with the environment outside the educational institution and to see the features of language and mathematics there as well. Comparing the level of knowledge of children at the beginning and at the end of the research, progress can be observed, which is facilitated by the properties of these natural materials. Therefore, nature materials can be used to promote the development of mathematics and language skills in the 3rd stage of preschool.
