Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darbs “Bērnu matemātikas prasmes pārejas posmā no pirmsskolas uz pamatizglītības satura apguvi 1.klasē: vecāku, pirmsskolas un sākumskolas skolotāju priekšstati”, kura autors ir Liene Valta, izstrādāts ar mērķi teorētiski pētīt un empīriski noskaidrot priekšstatus un to atšķirības starp respondentu grupām saistībā ar matemātikas prasmēm bērnam pārejas posmā no pirmsskolas uz pamatizglītības satura apguvi 1.klasē. Darba teorētiskajā daļā analizēta 6 – 7 gadus vecu bērnu matemātiskās prasmes pētījuma kontekstā, t.i. apakšvienībās skaitļi, skaitīšana un matemātikas simboli, uzmanību pievēršot priekšmetiskas darbības rīku izmantošanai matemātikas prasmju apguvē pirmsskolā. Empīriskajā daļā veikta pirmsskolas pedagogu, sākumskolas pedagogu un vecāku aptauja, izzinot viedokļus un uzskatus par darba autores definētajām matemātikas prasmēm, kuras bērnam būtu jāprot pārejas posmā no pirmsskolas uz pamatizglītības satura apguvi 1.klasē. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, konstatētas viedokļu atšķirības starp aptaujātajām grupām par matemātikas prasmēm, kuras bērnam jāapgūst pārejas posmā no pirmsskolas uz pamatizglītības satura apguvi 1.klasē, kā arī konstatēts, ka nepastāv vienota izpratne ne sākumskolas, ne pirmsskolas skolotāju pašu starpā. Darba noslēgumā secināts, ka respondentu grupām nav konkrētības uzskatos par matemātikas mācību jomā iegūstamajām prasmēm bērnam beidzot pirmsskolas izglītības posmu. Kvalifikācijas darbam ir 3 nodaļas un 39 lapas. Darbs satur 8 attēlus, 6 tabulas un 2 pielikumus. Pētījumā izmantoti 38 literatūras avoti. The qualification paper, authored by Liene Valta, is titled "Children's maths skills in transition from preschool to first grade primary school: perceptions of parents, preschool, and primary school teachers." The research aims to theoretically examine and empirically identify differences in preconceptions among respondent groups regarding a children's mathematical skills as they transition from preschool to first-grade primary education. The theoretical part of the paper analyzes the mathematical skills of 6-7-year-old children in the context of the study, focusing on subunits such as numbers, counting, and mathematical symbols. Special attention is given to the use of manipulative tools in the acquisition of mathematical skills in primary school. In the empirical section, a survey was conducted among preschool teachers, primary school teachers, and parents to explore opinions and views on the mathematical skills defined by the author, which children should master during the transition from preschool to the acquisition of primary education content in Grade 1. The obtained results indicate differences in opinions among the surveyed groups regarding the mathematical skills that children should acquire during this transition, and it is also noted that there is no unified understanding among both primary and preschool teachers. In conclusion, it is inferred that there is a lack of specificity in the views of respondent groups regarding the mathematical skills children should acquire at the end of the preschool education period. The paper consists of 3 chapters and 39 pages, including 8 images, 6 tables, and 2 attachments. The study references 38 sources.
